Today's session:

I found myself in quite a few multiway high-variance pots where the "price was right" but couldn't really get there.

Also had some focusing issues (cat in the room = -EV), but overall it was fine.

Some of my rules:
- 500 big bet BRM (might seem nitty, but I'm sticking with it)
- 4 tabling max at all times
- table selecting, table selecting, table selecting...
- get an average of 1k hands/day
- analyze noted hands after every session
- avoid playing anything that is not FL (esp. MTT's ;))

Short terms goal:
- moving up to $0.10/$0.20 this month

Long term goals:
- having fun
- ???
- Profit!

$0.10/$0.20, here I come.

I tested out 10c/20c and it seem tougher. Way more LAG's, Maniacs, TAG's and bluffs.

Was 50 BB down in the beginning mostly because I had no info on anybody.
I feel like I was really unlucky about hitting the flop the whole session.

My stats for 5c/10c:

I'll have to overlimp way less from now on.
I always had a Went to Showdown around 41 and in the last 20k hands or so I managed to get it down to ~38 but it will be increased again because I'll have to call down more lightly against maniacs.

I had the same prob when I started $.1/.2, TAGS were a bit better (not much though) and WAYYYYYYYYY more laggy players.And the same on $.25/.5. Just keep working hard in between sessions dude and you'll find yourself beating them.

BTW: PTR stats can be wrong at the best of times. You prob ran better I know I run better than what they say, so I don't even bother with them, I just check my HEM for how I'm doing.

Yeah, PTR is messed up, missing like 4k hands out of 22, but it feels more "official" than PT3

I didn't had much problem with TAG's so far, at least I can work with ranges better against them and most of them folds waaay to easily - or at least they did on 5c/10c.

I'll have to adjust against LAG's/Maniacs though, they can always surprise me.

That is crazy!

First I started making notes about these late street semi bluff tendencies but it seems that it's so natural that I just gave up noting it.

Oh well, calldown it is, and variance is the name of the game.

Recent sessions:

My upswing is definetly over for now.
In fact I feel like I rarely hit and I often get sucked out on, which might just feel like due to the looseness of the game.
And most importantly my game was poor too. Made quite a lot of mistakes.

Actually I was surprised after each sessions when I saw that I was only down by a couple of big bets.

There's some real good players on the limit though like Timtun (4.59 BB/100 over 190k hands) and sergey dust.
