CO shows a full-house, jacks full of eights(8:s J:s).

CO wins with a full-house, jacks full of eights(8:s J:s).

So the original raiser was playing 18 15 over 500 hands, my read was that he was a standard player, neither too good nor too bad... I get qjs in the bb which i 3bet in this spot like 100% of the time but at the time i was involved in like 3 big hands on other tables so i just called automatically...
Flop:I flop a dream flop and am obv happy to put all of my chips in, go for the check raise and he just flats which doesn t give me too much information about his hand, but i kind of rule out him having a set or two pair because it s a pretty draw-heavy board and i think he d 3bet me here...
Turn: I hit another jack which is good cause i thought he might have an overpair, and i had a pretty loose image at the the table (been caught bluffing a few times) and noticed the other players started calling me a bit lighter, so if he has something like a10 he still could call because no draw came in at the turn (at this point i am confident i m ahead)...
River: I shove without thinking, and he snapcalls... So after the hand i start thinking to myself which hand could he call me with here that i have beat? I mean except a hero call from like kk or aj (which is unlikely) or something there aren t many hands he d call me with here that i have beat... The problem is i can t check fold here (especially after i hit), can i? The flop flat really misleaded me into thinking he can t have a fh here... So if i shove he folds almost everything i have beat and calls with better, if i check fold that s like the weakest play ever and c/calling is also pretty stupid i think...
So am i overthinking myself, being result oriented or is it just a cooler? Any feedback about any part of the hand (flop play, turn play, sizings etc) is welcome as always... Coaches do your thing...

Hi PickoCro!

First of all I don't think you're overthinking at all.
It's definitely a perfectly valid thought process to assume your line looks extremely strong after the flush gets there and therefore he might not call too much vs a shove.

As for the streets themselves:

Pre:
As you say squeezing preflop is better than calling.

As played:
Flop:
He could still have 2p+ when he calls with the plan of shoving turn, but in general that doesn't change much because we have so much equity that we're committed anyway (and perfectly fine with getting it in on the turn).

Turn:
Therefore I'm definitely betting the turn as well.
Given it leaves us with 1/2 pot and we don't have to protect at all (actually we're trying to get value vs QQ+ and really don't want them to fold) I like your betsizing.

River:
On the river as you say he might not call too much. However, if we check he's almost certainly not betting something like QQ+ because he can't expect to get called by much.
Jx isn't in his range as he'd shove the turn almost certainly.
So by checking we don't achieve much, but we're ahead almost always.
Therefore I'm shoving this all day, too.
We might not get called very often, but especially with a loose image we get an occasional call from QQ+ because he doesn't really expect us to have many Jx in our range ( he thinks we're squeezing smth like QJ+ preflop).
