i'm not sure about some of these plays maybe you had reads or whatever but..

hand1: i don't see any reason to 3bet him what is he going to carry on with? you seem like you are isolating yourself against a range which beats your hand. even his hand has 55% equity on that board the only hand you beat is some random KK/AQ and i doubt he will play like that with AQ (even then it's unlikely since you hold 2 the 2 aces..) and with KK.. is he going to flat call preflop (even though he is IP) and risk his KK in a 3way pot? i don't agree with your raise.

hand2: again i don't understand your check/raise.. he calls you on the flop so i would automatically put him on some random float with some mid pocket pair or KQ. so you check he bets and you raise? you are turning your aces into a bluff surely it would be better to play it cautiously and consider just calling there and reevaluating on the river.

hand3: just sucks

hand4: i don't think you are getting good odds to call even though he is short i think you should have just folded the hand to his shove.

hand5: i think it's okay but on the river maybe check/fold. it's an unraised pot and he's calling you down. also the straight draw hits on the river and its likely he was just limping in with some random spec.hand and it looks like he has hit something.

these are just my ideas - i think you could have played most of these hands differently. i know i am playing a lower limit to you as well so i guess i'm in no spot to criticise your play but i mean this in a constructive way. anyways i would like to hear your feedback. maybe you did have some reads or something. gl

Hi DrDunne, thanks for your comments. Every critic is welcome, we learn out of it.

Hand1:
I put him on a range QQ,TT,22,AhTh+,AQo,J9s,KJs
On such wet board I don't think I'm isolating myself

Hand2:
I get your point. But if you don't put him on J, what can he have?
KK, QQ or like TT
That's what I was thinking on the turn when he minbets, and with that, he's calling minraise.

I agree bet, bet bet is probably better line.

hand4: bu vs bb aggainst ss is for me fine

hand5: I think betting is better, if he raises I fold. what do I get by checking the river? On what hand do you put him on taking that line?

1. you have a good point about it being on a wet board he is likely to have draws in his range. but just cos it's we doesn't mean he doesnt have you crushed and against his line its pretty dodgey imo. im pretty paranoid player and i would def put him on some QQQ/TTT/222 there.. i guess it's a pretty tough spot did you post it in the hand evaluation? would be interesting to see what coaches say i often don't know what to do in these spots.

2. after he calls your check/raise on the turn i think he pretty much only has (at least) a Jx hand.. maybe even 888JJ. i completely missed the tiny bets on the turn!

i think yea just second barrel the turn there like $10 and give up once called/raised. since you checked i really have no idea what to do against such a small bet. in this case im not sure if you are isolating lol. strange

4. i guess im just a nit lol i'm not a huge fan of flipping but i always expect him to have like AA/KK/QQ/AK/AQ there so i dunno. maybe he does have some crappy PPs in his range too! my take on that situation is that it would have been better if you were the one doing the pushing rather than calling it. if you are the one doing it then you can capitalise on the fold equity you create (not that there is as much v.SS) but obviously if he is doing it then that is completely taken away.

5. hmm well the SD completes. and by betting he is just gunna be folding his air range but if you X/C then you keep a few bluffs in his betting range. with that said i doubt he is bluffing much in such a situation cos its unraised and he called down and it is pretty damn dry. looks like he is either drawing to something weird or slowplaying. thats why i like X/F line.

they are interesting hands and i would love to know what others think about what to do there!

Bet flop bigger, like $7-7.50, he most likely isn't going anywhere ...
It's superwet, all broadways hit smth that aren't folding and low pockets etc crap folds to any sizing anyways ...

And shove turn ! There's absolutely no point in trying to "lure" him in with those BS underbets ... it just gives him a cheap draw

Think about it ... when the pot is so big and you leave so little behind, you're always gonna be commited and shoving the river ... But he's only going to call the river shove when he hits and fold all other times.

In a sense he's "freerolling" you.

Don't be fancy, just put it in on the turn and watch him snap it off with all pairs and draws.

You bet 7.50 on the flop and comfortably shove 15 into 25 on the turn.
Ez game :]

You can assume you are against the JJ set here and you have 9 outs for the nuts flush which is roughly 36% chance of hitting a heart on either the turn or the river but also assuming they have a slight possibility of hitting their full house. Your call 3 way is + EV but very high variance as you are always behind here.

Whats the point of posting these hands? it happens to everyone that plays poker.

It's better to post hands where your unsure about the play instead of suckouts where u cant controll anything

It's a question how frequent it happens, and it happens quite frequently to me. I feel better when I share it with someone, so it happens to me.

If you don't see a point me posting it I suggest u don't read it then.
