The idea is to play 100 Spingo Max games, and try to see if anything can be learned about how prizes are allocated.
The story so far:
Definitely not good. I have a +ve ROI playing $1 Spingos -- not a big one, but a solid one.
Spingo Max, though I'm at -26% YIKES.
Almost all my bust-out hands have been like this:

Where I have decent equity pre, but it doesn't hold.
I'm sure that if I play long enough, it will even out -- especially since the players at the $1 level are actually pretty bad.
But I'm not sure I will continue past the 100 games.
Here's why:
Rake 9% instead of 8
You've no idea what you're going to get before you start -- I think if I wanted to play a 6- or 8-man STT I would rather do that. The average payout over 44 games is only 2.95 to the winner -- in some cases 2nd gets 1.50 or 2.00. The max payout I've seen has been $12 -- but the winner got only $2.50 because of the randomized payout.
Disappointment on winning -- You work all that time and hit the All-in phase as chip leader 3-way and lose.
Disappointment on winning -- You win the AI phase, and get the min payout. (see table below)
So you win. Do you pick the Left, Right or Centre offering?
So far, here are the selection stats:
Max Min Med Picked
L: 14 21 9 13
R: 16 9 19 6
C: 13 13 18 24
Selected: 12 18 14
This shows that the left contained the max 14 times, min 21 times and the medium value 9 times -- and so on.
Left was chosen by the winner 13 times.
In many cases, the minimum and the medium and are the same. If a player picks either of those, then the one selected is recorded as the minimum.
I'd like to hear your Spingo Max thoughts and comments -- especially have you have graphs.
The table only shows the last 43 games I've played. There are 18 more I played before I started collecting data, but I'll play at least another 57.
Let me know...
VS
