Was it the right move to open? Could you advise how you would play that hand?
I don't play DON's so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I think this is a pretty easy open-shove even on the bubble.
yes you can open if they dont call like a maniac but you have to ahove pre because you can raise call in dons due to the equity
ICM is really nasty here. If you min raise you need to fold any hand if you face a 3bet shove.
Most of the time I would just shove. It's really tough to play TT post-flop with the ICM involved.

There was once a series of videos on DoNs but I could not find them.
In this situation, BB must go through the blinds before you do, and thus if you wait it is quite likely that he will either blind out first, to take a chance on a marginal hand.
If you're not the shortest stack, any bigger stack should 3Bet shove over you since you have everything to lose.
However if you shove, it puts the bigger stacks (except for BU) in a very difficult spot and (theoretically) they should fold.
If you wait, and BB doubles up -- or gets a walk -- then you need to double up yourself.

26.7%, 44+ Ax K6s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QJo JTs T9s
which seems wildly wide IMO
However
It also says that
BU should only call with QQ+
SB should only call with AA
BB should only call with 10.9%, 55+ A8s+ A9o+
And you're a far ahead of that range.
Double-or-Nothings are a license to print money for a tight aggressive player.
