This seems like a loose call pre-flop, tbh
But on the other hand, there is a lot this hand can do if it flops well...

GG Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: $17.07
BTN: $5.64
SB: $5.23
Hero (BB): $4.93
UTG: $5.00
MP: $6.72

SB posts SB $0.02, Hero posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has T♦:9♣:

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $0.15, Hero calls $0.10 <== no stats on anyone

Flop: ($0.30, 2 players) 2♣:2♠:6♥:
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($0.30, 2 players) 7♦:
SB checks, Hero bets $0.23 <== I've been doing this a lot over the past few weeks -- two checks and I'll bet the turn in position. Is that sound post-flop play?

Std pre, flop ok without backdoor.

Turn with gutshot bet for bluff river with overbet not A and K, or givup he has only SD value here imho:

He should check atc, but with value and in bluff cbet this board.. Many times has Ax.

I would most likely bluff bet turn a little bit smaller.
I expect if you bet like 16c you have the same result most of the time.

Yes and I'd recommend watching Weazels videos, this line should be taken in almost every instance and is totally standard. Even without the gutshot.

I have seen the Gameplan videos and articles -- but a long time ago.

Time for a refresher...

I wouldn't mind betting the flop with the back door draws and overs vs a check but ye as played i like the turn bet once villain checks again especially as we pick up equity.

i think it's super standard and the gutshot is just a bonus. :f_drink:
I found that this way we win a lot of small pots, but I'm careful/aware :f_eek: when this line creates a big pot then (normal) villain usually is slowplaying or drawing heavily.
Also I agree that betting turn slightly smaller gives us a better situation, we need them to fold less to be profitable.
But usually they will fold the same for 15 or 23 cents.
