Han/d converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$1/$2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8:d, 6:h.
2 folds, CO calls, BU calls, SB folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (3.5 SB) 5:s, 2:c, J:h (3 players)
Hero bets

CO: 37/18/1.8/47, 800 hands
BU: 45/18/1.0/37, 180 hands

What do you think? It has to work 1 out of 3,5 times. It's hard to put them on range though.

I check/fold here. Its a multiway pot, both villains dont like folding so much, and i dont think we can get them both to fold here in 1 out of 3,5 times . There are better spots to invest our money.

Hi!

No need to bluff in such spots every time but I definatelly do it from time to time especially when board is favourable like this one. Also when you get called you often have 6 outs and therefore decent equity.

By betting here you balance your range so that you can extract $$ when you flop good.
