BTW Lazza, was going to play your home game last night, nearly reg and then thought I was better off concentrating on the T I was in. I had sattied into the hot 50and was down to the last 100. Went out 88th in the end
I do try to get to them but often no one there, think its a timing thing. I only play NLHE as well which doesn't help.

No worries, Steve. If I was down to the last 100 of the Hot 55, I would concentrate on that too.
Hopefully we'll get some nice fields for the Club Championships.

Ok not sure how easy this is to read, a right pain in the back side to post.
Print screen save, paste onto paint, crop, upload to photobucket, then post link. Must be a way to post an image directly from SS.
Any way just having some fun, always done reasonable well on satties, got into hot 55 for $6 then cashed for $208. $20k at top
needed to beat JJ with my AQ to make a run at it. Next time for sure. I will get one its just a case of when.
Volume is terrible, just can't do it, dislike it, boring and tedious, admire those that do it. Not for me I am afraid. Guess I will just plod on and enjoy it and wait for my big bink
Close to a 1k month that would do, lets see what the last 2 days bring.

Hey Steve,
I use a site called Postimage.org. It has a function where you can set the size of your screenshot.
Worth checking out.

A deliberate early night for me, fresh for s grind today.
Current roll VPP
$670 37 Grrrr (67 for Chrome
Gonner try to get a 100 sng's in 3.50 and 1.50 45 mans, and hopefully end in profit.
100 is a lot for me. lets see how I get on
Ok a fail for most parts, played about 50 and lost about $6.
Started ok but got bored shitless after first 2hr session playing 6 to 8 tables. 2nd session got up to 12 tables, still boring but interestingly enough when I got down to 6/8 tables found my self twiddling my thumbs waiting for action which I found very strange coz previously playing 4 caused me grief.
So maybe my plan of playing more and getting used to it is starting to pay off.
Also spent about 6 hrs. playing Lazz's home games which was really good fun but of no help to the grind.
MM starts soon and can't resist that but will try and grind some more 45's as I am sure this is the way ahead for me.
GL
Steve if you are getting bored with action on less tables I suggest one of the two things:
1) Increase the number of tables until it becomes challenge but doable to do
2) Change to format of games to get more action (HU being the best out there for such a thing!)

Hi Steve,
I'm gonna call you that rather than some numbers if you don't mind
I've just read your blog in it's entirety and felt your writing skills are pretty good and with most of your posts you approach them with sound reasoning and get your point across very well. I never comment on STT/MTT blogs unless I know that person from a different context, however the fact that someone with nice well explained posts is ... I guess sub-conscience, over whether his blog will last is kind of a shame, and I think that whether your blog lasts or not is irrelevant. At this point in time, this blog is mapping your journey and when you look back on it you'll see the way you progressed your career.
This blog has thought, decent penmanship, and good content that will improve with a player that seems to want take his Poker to a new level and would be a shame (especially to similar players) if it fizzled away. If it does though. So what? It served the purpose it was created for right? Helping you meet new people, getting advice, etc.
Take it from me I recently started my 13th blog on this site and that doesn't count the numerous attempts elsewhere either, when I read some of my old blogs I actually laugh at what a fishy noob I was, but it maps my journey. Keep writing and a lot of people will keep reading in my opinion.
As for your image issues download this completely free software - I've used it for years... Press a hotkey you define take a pic of the region you want upload to image shack or Photobucket... Post here.
And here is your link
http://screencapturer.com/
Best of luck, hope this blog continues,
Danny
Ty guys, very nice to get some feed back.
I did deliberate for a long time about starting a blog and I think I will attempt to keep it going because as you say its handy for reflection.
Where am I at present. I will try to keep it brief but, i go to work hate my life say to my self "I must be able to do something in poker" , get myself fired up to have ago, get a few hrs. into poker say "FFS this it tedious and not for me i should focus on work", get to work.....hate me life. Rinse repeat....
I do not need much in $$ terms to make my life superb , I am very good at my Job but it feels like I am kind of shackled to it, I could go part time which is probably a good compromise, I get a Full Military pension in May of next year, and could probably get by with winning from poker of say $100 a day 4 days a week combined with my pension. Which I know is achievable with little risk, I just need to get in the right mind set and find my mojo.
Redundancy still looms but I sometimes feel that this could make my decision for me.
Still working in the food bank, each week the number of clients go up. The organisation is very Mickey mouse, ran by Volunteers with an average age of about 65 I would say ( maybe 62) but certainly in that range. Mainly church goers and I just feel its getting too big for this kind of set up and needs to become more professional to meet the ever growing demands.
Any way that will do, will try and play a bit tonight but got family around for tea.

Steve
Using screen capurer then you choose Region as the option and you can draw a box around the area you want the screenshot from... Then no need to crop
Cheers got that, when I go onto capture the region section, the cross hairs come up and I can't seem to work out how to position it around the detail I want, just seems to move section of a kind of right angles shot?
Steve
Nah mate this is everything I have played all year on stars, sng and Tourneys, although volume on both is pants obv.

Hey bud,
YOu have to drag the cross hair to one corner of the region you want left click... Then you drag the region over the area you want captured and left click again and it should give you the option to save the image... Should that fail then you can message me via community on this site and I'll send you my Skype name and help that way

Had to do a change in options, think I have it now.
