Hi all,
Ok I been having fun with the MM and Lazz’s home games, but need to start a little bit of focus, if I am going to get anywhere or just F *** it and play as an out and out Rec.
So last night was my first attempt at getting my shit together.
• Exercise: Cycled home and did my 10 Minute Dead man Burpees 44 achieved in total. (Best ever is 60, target is to get to 100 in 10 mins.)
• Warm up: Wanted to get going so very little except that I did decide to focus on taking my time with decisions, which for the most part I did.
• Poker: Played 10 x 1.50 45 man SNG’s with a loss of $9, 2 final tables, ran with 8 and obviously busted 2 so started 2 more to keep 8 going. Ran that set out.
• Warm down…. Erm railed a few horses.
Points of note:
• Had a couple of horses running deep so could not stop myself from railing, even with 8 tables going, which is good that I could Multi task a little but bad with regards to focus. So next session no railing.
• When down to 6 tables found it pedestrian which again is a good sign.
• My observation on finishing was that I had ran generally pretty badly
with my big hands and therefore could be ok with the loss, more on that later.
• Played for 1.7 hrs thought it was nearer 2 and obviously set was wound down, where if I was continuously loading tables i could have fitted more in in not much more time.
Routine:
• Home from work
• Exercise and shower
• Meal
• 1.7 hrs play
• 1hr wind down
• Bed
So in an evening if I want to fit everything in, I doubt I can get more than 2/3 hrs playing time in, so will monitor this.
Review:
• Replayed the whole 10 sng’s via Universal replayer today at work today ( I know, I know ) and noted that:
• I felt I played 98% of the hands the same way I would have had I been single tabling, which I was surprised as I thought that I would miss a lot of spots, and generally got em in at the right times and good.
• Missed the fact that a couple of guys gave me a lot of walks which is handy to know in game.
• I ran 100% fairly, sucked out once, got sucked out on a couple of times and flips about right, so I actually feel I ran good overall. So why no profit, definitely one of my FT I got ul in that all the SS kept doubling up and my important hand or 2 did not hold. Maybe this is something I could put more work into. i.e. Ran fairly, didn’t win $$$ ?
I need to find a way to post hands for comment and feedback. At least 10 hands I am happy with but would like another POV on. As I said I would play most hands the same again, but that doesn’t mean I am right, I think I am but……
Think I am going to raise a thread on the forum to get some thoughts on the subject. Also going to see if I can’t set up a 45 man “review each other’s HH” type group.
Finally, my wrist started to hurt again wtf.

Need to do exactly the same myself. (without the cycling and burpees). I mean get myself into a routine.
MM only seemed to start yesterday and it's half over already. Missed another 2 planned events yesterday. Because of being in Australia, the major festivals tend to wreak havoc on my sleep patterns and I find it harder and harder to adjust as I grow older.
As a warmup before a session, I like to do something I enjoy. I find this puts me in a positive frame of mind and this in turn helps my alertness.
As I no longer enjoy cycling or burpees, I prefer to put on the headphones and listen to my dinosaur music (60s-90s).
Wish you would play like a rec player in the Home Games

2 FT, shortie's would not die, so I took it upon my self to do so, bad habit Steve.
Happy with how I played and considering I got aa cracked by under prs twice, I probably can't complain.
Going to review the 16 games tomorrow at work :), expect to see some standard stuff but looking forward to the surprise.

Replayed all 16 sng's pretty much the same as yesterday a couple more coolers and a couple more bad beats but over all ran as well as you should I guess. The $$ will start to come when they are due.
Very time consuming and off course boring and won't get the time to do this after every session especially when I start to get 100 a day in. I will have to think about how to tackle this.
Needs to look at 3 bet spots, feel I missed potential ones every now and then, not 100% sure, but I know that is a tool missing from my Armoury, but slowly slowly catchy monkey.
Grandkids round tonight so won't get in the early hr I had hoped but should get in the later one. Potential to fit an hr in shortly though.

Ft 3 Bubble one, one 6th and one 2nd, first profit of about $9. Soooo comfy with just 4 tables (in fact bored and started to surf/rail DOH), looks like with more of the same I should able to get my table count up to a comfy 8 - 12 fairly quickly.

Ok so did get a set of 8 in after food bank work, 2 FT broken even ish.
Graph attached from HEM 1 which shows my 45 man $1.50. I suppose I will post one of these every 100 or so, as that is a big volume for me. Hopefully that will change shortly and I could perhaps do a similar one every 500 or so. We will see.
Any way, am I right, the Red line shows what I could/would have won if my cards had played out mathematical as they should have ? 1.e. That I got UL ?
BTW moved 180 KG of food stuffs to the food bank lost night, am counting this as a little exercise. This figure grows each week

If you are talking about all in Ev, then that measures how you are running in all in situations.
For instance say you have AA in the BB in the first hand of a Sng and the SB shoves 1500 chips with 72o and you call. Using rough figures to make the calculations easier, say you have 80% equity. 80% of the time you will win 3000 chips which gives you an allin Ev value of 2400. 80% of the time you will win 3000 chips which is 600 above Ev and 20% of the time you will win 0 which is 2400 below Ev.
All in Ev applies only to situations where you are allin. All other hands are ignored and will parallel your green line. Even when you are allin on the river it won't measure it because obv someone has 100% equity and will never lose.

Ok fitted 16 in yesterday for a small loss, nearly recovered the loses to date but just couldn't get over the line.
Thoughts, still pretty boring and feel I could cope with more tables.
Had 3 Ft going at once which was a new experience, I pulled one out of the pack to focus on and perhaps didn't give the other 2 enough attention. Won the focussed one, 7th on one and bubble the 3rd. Have to think about dealing with this in a better way in the future, clearly this is the difference between making $$$ and not.
Probably post a graph when I get a 100 done.
Now I have sussed how to post HH, I will put a few up here to see if my mass of follows comment if not may post a few in the other parts of the forum. These will be ones that I just want a bit of confirmation on and not really deep analysis. The 88 above, I knew it was a fold but in the heat of battle made a mistake and was obviously one I spotted during my review.
December
I love December and Christmas but must put some work in.
Thinking of a few things. 650 games at 1.50 gets me Silver. This would be for only the 2nd time ever and would be a step towards perhaps Gold later on. This would be almost double the amount of games I have ever played in a month before and am sure would smash my most games in a day record.
Allow 25 days of play( it is xmas after all ) that works out to 26 games a day. Lots of Weekends in there so should be doable. So not the biggest target in the world but meaningful to me.
If it goes well in that I am at least break even then I may take a shot at $3.50 in January which I am rolled for any way.
