Now you have mentioned it, last night I was playing well looking at the table gathering reads and finding spots to get my chips in and the results were positive, but for some reason a little while later I lost the plot and lost a buyin, its almost as if I was on auto pilot and not thinking, i lost the buyin then it was like I woke up and screamed at myself "what the f$%k was I thinking"
It was very like when I really concentrate on looking at what im drawing and I lose track of time if you know what I mean, I was really wrapped up in the game but not in a logical thinking way.
I think we still need them both. If we see a chair with our left brain our brain just take the concept that a chair has 4 legs, while if we see it with our right one we see the chair as is from our point of view, if the chair only shows 3 legs that's what we're gong to draw.
I'm not sure about this, but I think in general left brain process old information, right brain process latest/current information.
In poker if we see a REG with vp/pf 12/7 raise from UTG, our left brain gonna put him mostly on QQ+, AK, because that's how he's been playing in the past. But if we use our right brain to see this, it's gonna process only the current information and see the player as is so if the REG plays loose on this particular table in this particular session for some reason, we're gonna notice this with our right brain.
