Lemon's printing money is about avoiding higher variance spots which means you fold a lot. And here is a problem, when I fold a lot while I play two tables it's boring for me. And when I play it while 4-tabling I start to either play on autopilot or I spew a lot.
This just doesn't work specifically for me.
I kind of use started to use this strategy to fold more in certain spots but not as much as Lemon do. I like to play my 2 tables and think about spots more.

I hope my explanation makes sense.

super.

i'll go away and not troll you since all-around smart females are out of my league.

try 4 table non-zoom games. observe players and use dynamics to your advantage, should be better for progres.

Just read the entire Cash blog in one go. To be honest, I got very intrigued And it was my pleasure to read your blog. Cant wait for update to keep following you. I have a love And hate relationship with poker, I love the game, but hate the commitment part. I ussually loose the passion within months time And quit for few months And then repeat. I am excited to get back at poker my self this week And Will see how far I can go from 2$ bankroll thats left at my stars account.
Could you recommend maybe some articles or videos to take A look at to renew my knowledge for Micro stakes.
Maybe you have a few tips at Micro stakes as its been A while since I last played A hand.
Mean while Best of luck on studΔ“s And at the tables as well :)

Hello, greatpk!

Thank you for your kind words and I very much appreciate that you read the whole cash blog.
I would recommend you No-Limit Beginner's Course with confidant91.
I think it's best to start. I personally haven't come through all the lessons yet but I'm going to get back to it and stick to it for a while.
And definitely doing hand reviews and posting hands to Hand Judge forum. These two things bring the most value per spent time.
Keeping it simple is sometimes the best option.

I will update my blog next week again :)

Thank you and :gl: to you, too!

Hi everyone!

Ok, where to start :-) ...
I was struggling at NL5 for a while and I didn't enjoy the game. I was constantly loading more than two tables (which was my optimum) and it led to situations where I was tilting. I didn't study, I didn't post any hands in HJ forum, I didn't enjoy the game.
My goal was to get to NL10 with proper bankroll management and step by step from NL2.
NL5 is a bit different than NL2 but not so much so I don't think that a mistake is in my game but I think it's in my mindset.
I didn't want to play NL5 any more and was constantly loosing.

This is my result from all-time at NL5:

I decided to do an experiment. I expect you will not like my decision.

I play at NL10, only one table, fully focused on the table, thinking in every spot, observing players, picking up notes, picking up timing tells and the most important I enjoy it.
I'm very aware I can quickly bust my whole bankroll and I'm prepared to accept it if it happens.
I still have over 4000 starscoins so I can use them if it will be needed.

I have a small sample from NL10. Fortunately, I run above EV so it comes handy now. I was running bellow EV while I was playing NL2.

I play simple ABC poker as much as I can. Do I play money scared? Very likely.
I'm actually trying to apply a bit of Lemon's strategy -> to avoid higher variance spots. I just fold more.

Plan:
Rewatch Lessons 1, 2, 3 and 4 of No-Limit Beginner's Course with confidant91 [2017 edition]
Watch Lesson 5
Try to do hand reviews after every session again.

Feel free to comment on my decision.

Session review

Number of hands: 248
Net won: $7.41
EV Net won: $3.39

The most losing hand:

PokerStars Zoom, Hold'em No Limit - $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG: $22.41 (224 bb)
MP: $10.30 (103 bb)
CO: $18.84 (188 bb)
BU: $11.18 (112 bb)
SB (Hero): $10.50 (105 bb)
BB: $21.91 (219 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with Jβ™₯ J♣
UTG raises to $0.30, 3 players fold, Hero calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.90) Kβ™₯ 6♣ 7β™₯ (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks

Turn: ($0.90) 5β™  (3 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50, UTG folds

River: ($1.90) 9β™  (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, BB raises to $2.65, Hero calls $1.45

Total pot: $7.20 (Rake: $0.32)

Showdown:
BB shows 8♦ 6♦ (a straight, Five to Nine)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 21%, Flop: 21%, Turn: 30%, River: 100%)

SB (Hero) mucks Jβ™₯ J♣ (a pair of Jacks)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 79%, Flop: 79%, Turn: 70%, River: 0%)

BB wins $6.88

My thoughts about the hand:
Mw spot, villains are unknown. I didn't squeeze because I wanted to keep his UTG's range wide. I didn't want him to fold his pocket pairs and some Axs, I had a strong made hand.
The flop was rather wet and everyone checked.
Turn seemed safe and I started to value bet my Jackes. The big blind called and I assumed he had a pretty wide range.
Now I think my bet on the river is too big, I should go smaller. His 2x raise was suspicious I should fold it was clear value raise.

Note: I don't have much time for review today but at least some update.

Preflop it is ok to mix both flat calls and 3bets on the SB with JJ. Take into account how BB usually defends (squeeze, fold, etc) and how wide UTG is opening.
Flop ok.
Turn is way better for BB than for you. You simply don't flat from the SB with suited one-gappers and that kind of stuff. UTG should also be more selective when c-betting OTF vs 2 players, so he still has some Kx, like K9s, KTs, even KJs (less likely due to blocking effect).
So what worse hands do BB/UTG call your turn bet? I don't think BB will flat a lot with 7x (maybe 87s, 97s), 6x with UTG still to act. You block some QJ, AJ, JT air hands UTG may have and is willing to call IP. Maybe 88-TT call? Will be too thin overall. How do you play OTR when they both call?
It is probably ok to bet, but on the SB you really don't need to have bluffing ranges and thin value bets vs 2 players. So I would go linear and bet my Kx, sets.
Betting OTR again for value is definitely too thin. I think BB will raise you OTT with sets (55-77) and DP (75s-76s, K5s-K6s). 8x got there, maybe some 97s is now 2 pair. UTG was indeed capped. Check/fold this river might be the best line imo.
Calling that river raise is just insane with JJ. You block missed flushdraws, str8 draws, don't block any value combos (maybe J8s and thats it?), so it is a disaster.

It is common in several regions and is used by people of all types regardless of the colour of their neck.

In some regions, y'all is singular.
If you are speaking to a large number, then "All y'all" is used.

I'm sorry, I'm not a native English speaker. I thought "y'all" is just a simple abbreviation of "you all".
I didn't even know what does rednecks mean.

Hi mjez
you are exactly correct.
How ever y'all is mostly used in the American South.

A redneck is a person from a rural area (usually) with strong conservative attitudes.

Although the two don't always go together, a lot of people assume that when a person says y'all (or all y'all) that they are a redneck.

t'aint necessarily so.

Cheers,
VS

kkomar111 was a known troll and multi-accounter who should have received a ban by now.

Don't worry, you're absolutely correct. The expression "y'all" is often associated with Southern American English (often considered to be one of the most beautiful American dialects, btw), but it's perfectly fine to use.

Whoopsie, Vorpal already clarified. It's okay, now you know twice as well.
