Seems pretty optimistic plan. But of course it depends what sort of monthly profit goal is needed. Also what sort of base level you are at skill wise.

DAY #1 results

I've added a second breakeven 1k hands session. Got coolered twice by the last quarter of the sess. Field feels pretty soft I am getting 2+ recs easily on tables.

Added another 2k hands. Managed to keep playing A+ game after a mini down swing with no tilt and heavy patience paying it off! This is great because my biggest weakness is mental game which will my main focus for improvement at nano-limits.

DAY #3 results

Today played ~4.2k hands ending up the day evbe which is not that bad after being ~4bi down. Peaked at +5bi and when I was about to start opening some 5NL tables the poker gods pressed the doom switch, none of my over pairs, sets, straights and flushes hold it til the river which is very sad but the good part is I did not tilted/bluffed any of those hands managing to turn the chart a bit up by the end of the day. Added this much volume because week is about to start and I am traveling to Indonesia on Tuesday and will have to put ton of time job wise also.

Let's keep the grind up fellas.

DAY #4 results

Summary:
Did a very early morning session with the only goal to turn the graph up again. Added ~1.1k hands and after some time looking rec's play patterns the graph went up! I think at these levels is key to know when to play the cards or the players not overcomplicating things. I am pretty excited because I unlocked a chest reward and I am now sitting on 30bi of 5NL but no playing for the rest of the day to cool off. I will be moving down the stakes with 25bi of current level but fingers crossed for that not to happen at this first 5NL shot. I am not gonna say I beat the stake (2NL) but pretty happy with current wr. I know there is a ton of variance in ~10k hands.

DAY #5 results

Summary:
I have got wrecked twice. Played a very long first 5NL session after midnight til very early before traveling to Bali, Indonesia. Aside of losses was a very good session on mental side no tilt or gambling in the entire sess but I overfolded a bit. When I was about to go breakeven the poker gods activated the doom switch again. I risked more than the 5bi that I initially told but when I was 4.5bi went to 5.5 and almost 6 then turned the graph back up and after this the story repeated. Getting used to a new level with completely different table dynamics takes time. I downgrade brm to the classical 25bi rule so will be keep playing 5NL because the ev line is in profits so is a matter of putting in the hours.

Summary:
Made into Bali. Mental game still strong, years back I would already went busto. Starting to conclude that people is playing any two cards except some few players. I still don't get adapted to current stake but will keep hwaiting!. Maybe I will have to keep my job forever 😭

Btw your graph look exactly as mine some time ago, I believe you might be bluffing less than you should.

In my opinion, if you are smart enough to be a software engineer you are also to beat the micros. Just keep working.

yeah in Asia you can probably do that at NL5 living-costs wise. There are many other and better things to do in Asia, that's the "problem"
