Day 35 +0.21$
888Poker 18.08$
A very good start to the week, six money tournaments played and four in the money. Also entry to the 1.5k tournament but no money place this time.
Day 36 +0.62$

I had been waiting for you, and today you arrived, the first zero day.
Say it was close without saying it was close.

52nd out of 1710 is not a cash? Wow...
Going for 36 days without "zero days" is pretty impressive, by the way.
That 52nd out of 1710 is a freeroll satellite for 5k tournament (top 50 get a ticket), which I've been trying to get into for a long time, and this time I was so close.
It's been a good run for sure. But when there are good freerolls that the average top 500 is in the money and play five tournaments a day, it's not so impressive.

Consistently cashing at least one out of five freerolls every day for about a month is not bad at all. And don't sweat it, the real fun will start when you get to the paid entry tournaments.
Is 888 still running that Casino Freeroll? At least it was still around when I was playing on that site, it was a restricted weekly freeroll for which you could get a ticket by placing any kind of casino bet on a qualifying day. Thursday was either the qualifying day or the date of the freeroll itself, I don't remember.
If it is still offered, maybe it could be something to check out. As long as you place just one minimal $1 blackjack bet per week on qualifying days, you would be playing in a decent weekly tournament with a buy-in that evens out to a couple of cents in the long run. Of course, the buy-in itself would then be subject to variance, so it would need to be taken into account.
I haven't looked to see if there is such a casino freeroll and it's not even for me. Let poker be poker and let casinos be casinos.

I completely agree, casino games are best to be avoided entirely - but in this case, if you stick to that one minimum bet, it can be considered a "buy-in" to a cheap tournament that has a pretty good payout structure, if I remember correctly.
If you have concerns about casino games in general, then I can understand that you may want to stay away from it. I just wanted to bring that tournament to your attention in case you were unaware of it, as it could be considered a good choice for the transitional period between freerolls and paid MTTs.

Today was a good day both in life and in poker. It was a warm day and my mood was realy good. In poker today, I felt like I reached a state where I thought and analyzed my every game move, instead of just being a button-pressing monkey.
It feels that analytical gaming is here to stay. A lot of work has been done with the head and there is still a lot to do, but small steps are the best. Especially when you realize that this is the right way to do something.
More runs like this in the future.

Day 42 +0.58$

Great job!
Got my little bankroll, too. Won about 8 Euro in a PKO (bounties) for which I had qualified completely for free!

Hi VisionBoard!
At the moment I only play freerolls. After freerolls I move on to playing and learning in practice cash games.
My intention is to study tournament playing sometime in the future and start playing tournaments as well.
