Played NL 10 today. Was up around $30 but ended up only $10 up. Lost a $20 hand against a 70/20 0.1 aggression factor fish who called full pot on flop and turn with only a gutshot and hit on the river. I had trip aces (pocket aces and flopped a set) on a draw board so took him to value town and couldn't believe my eyes when he flipped over QTo. I had second best possible hand. So considering that, I could have easily made a nice profit today. I am still playing SH as I think it is quite fun at times.
Bankroll is $280 at the moment. Had it over $300 for the first time ever today but then lost it to that fish ♠_confused:

You seem like a winner, so I'd like to do a sweat and see how you play on zoom. Maybe there's something im totally missing. But I just cant seem to win a pot on there anymore, but i win everywhere regular i go.
That fuckin sucks about the AA vs QT hand man. You dont know how much respect i have for a player that it happens to and they dont go on tilt

Hey Magic. Last few days have been horrible though. Somewhere along the line I have messed up my thinking and am calling down too light against players + bad beats have really hurt my bankroll. I've decided to move back down to NL 5 again where I am still not winning like I was a few days ago. Not sure what has changed but it's quite difficult to get my head wrapped around it.
seems like you are experiencing EXACTLY what i did before my bankroll plummeted from 160 to 27. i got it back up to 70 as a result of moving to reg tables, 6 at most, using my hud + reads + notes + labels, plus rereading some of the strategy articles and videos.
I would suggest quitting while your ahead, opening up some reg tables, and using your sick handreading skills to your advantage. Your winrate will be good and you wont experience the tough games like on zoom. here its common to see loose passive / fish / nit / loose passive / tight passive / (you) TAG/ nit/ Fish/ TAG
for your average table makeup. pretty chock full of fish and loose passive players, unlike before where it seemed to be nits and regs 24/7.
Nope I have taken a break since it was mentally draining and I couldn't play my A game during that time frame. I'm gonna go back to my roots and play some NL 5 FR again tonight for 500 hands and analyze from there. We'll see how it goes.
Have revamped and calmed myself down. Played a nice +2 BI session today and it felt nice to be a winning player again. I have really tightened my game to around 14/12 (nitty) just to build my confidence. I think because I gained so much profit in such a short time that I adjusted my game too much when I moved to NL10 and then couldnt find it again.
Will keep updating.

I think my strategy is pretty solid right now as well but comparing them would be nice. I can do it today in the next few hours if you want. If not, it will have to be next week sometime on an evening.

indeed you can print money by being more aggressive, it's the logical counter to "people only play nuts"...
but i find out i can only really pull it off when i'm "in the zone"

My game is officially back!
Up 8 BI ($40) today. I'm not posting a graph because the poker gods will smite me. However, twice today I flopped a set of aces and had to fold them by the river. I might post those hands later. Soooooo sick.
