A great success from me!
With sfml you can create the first window with input/output and drawings very quickly. And afterwards I'm wondering too what you will pick.
And focus on modern C++. The new things 17, 20, if avaliable 23 or even test 26. And the old stuff only what's necessary to read code.
Tough battles today for 30min, up +0,10€; played really well I think, up to my standards at least.

I tried to get the MS Windows new Visual Studio running, but I last compiled in 2009. So I failed, but now I will get something running again with the help of Zenva private school.

I have managed to build pretty solid NLHE skills over the last few years. Still, to play even NL2, I need a bigger bankroll. How to get that bigger bankroll? One option is to go to work. This is what I'm even doing now, working as educator from my own company. Unfortunately I can't do this baller lifestyle (playing poker alone for living + travelling) at current stage of life, as wife+children ask for constant attention and time. But if I had bigger bankroll, I could very easily put in these 15min cashgame sessions without pressure, with the current pretty good NLHE skills. I need to be realistic though. Money isn't just appearing to my account. In fact, people ask for more and more money and more and more support. So this super cool lifestyle (playing low-stakes poker and meditating) isn't unfortunately possible here at the moment, as people ask for real community building, education, constant togetherness and stuff like that. Maybe I need to look at what they CAN provide. Real estate for example. They are pretty good at that. What else? Extra pressure on training? That is definitely happening. Everybody is like so busy over here, there isn't a single person chatting, all are working with max pace 12+hours/day. This creates a lot of time on their real estates for me, but I can still feel their tension and pressure. "Work for the state!" would they scream if that was polite. They always make like 10x or 100x bigger work offers than I'm interested in. No-one's there to chat.
I can see what is wrong, but I have no intention to fix that. This creates conflict between me and these people. I can't just go on politely refusing 100% of all offers, which makes them really angry. I have tried that. But I am on my max trying to provide 1% of what they ask for. That type of one person who would solve all of that crisis, doesn't exist. I guess these conflicts will just keep happening.
Ok finally got a C++ compiler to work in MS Windows in 2025; still dropped back to C language by accident one time, but now created new project and could choose the correct compiler with mouse click! USING UI is sooo difficult!

What compiler do you use? I have Visual Studio 2022 (free version) installed, but I write mostly in python, and use a different editor for that.

I thought they (Microsoft) have banned fast app creation in C/C++ ; because I couldn't get it running on my own in 30minutes; but they have just gone elsewhere business-wise? I use "Visual Studio Code" now (the latest), and I have also used VS Code recently for Python. I even made a workaround with Pytoexe library, cause I thought they have banned C++ app creation. Anyway, now they "allow" it again So funny, I thought you can only create programs if you correctly use the "code ." function from command line, if you enter the VS Code visually, you can't (my thought process). But now it allows both, I used the help of both Zenva academy and Microsoft official C++ howto tutorial.
VS Code isn't compiler itself, but I found a suitable one from the Microsoft official VS Code C++ howto tutorial.
Also when I tried to order a used "Tour on C++" book from UK (they only sell physical copies of that book), it didn't arrive and I got my money back. This also made me think that they have banned C++ for security reasons for home user.
Situation a bit better now, action-heavy day. Sitting near the correct bus stop at Hesburger, with 10 heavy laptop computers in backpack, going soon to the bus to give last gamedev workshop for kids this week. Played a 6-min 4-tabling NLHE2 session from Hesburger, up +0,50€. I love taking positive action! There are also people entering NL2 who just throw money in, and I managed to outplay a reg with bluff on the river. Gotta love NL2. But no longer session yet, gotta geep good balance and not get lost too much into individual poker world... I hope the money situation gets better soon, the schools maybe pay soon... Might even go running again tomorrow morning. 
Again 13 kids entering to the "max 10-kid" gamedev workshop. Exploring "depth" variable in GMS today for creating 2D RPGs. Also put offline games for them to play so that they don't overcrowd my mobile internet. Nice chat with like-minded people, many came here 30 min earlier and even now, 30min before end, 9 people are playing video games. Some started developing again. (The workshop is 2 hours in this school)
I have been thinking... what is "normal poker career"?
People: "normal poker career is winning at NL100+ and grinding from home gaming computer on your real estate."
Me: *skipping university to play FL72 on government-banned site by changing DNS on laptop*
People: "normal poker career is going to work on a government position to earn +2000€/month"
Me: *grinding FL0.48 on Stars in front of my family for +$10/month*
People: "We don't have much to say any more. Normal poker career is buying a big countryside house for everybody."
Me: *Switching to NLHE for +15€/month and launching a gamedev company that provides workshops for schools in biggest town in our country*
I think you always need to adjust according to people. This is just my thoughts. The people seem to be quite intelligent. I remember when I was in a really good mood, I wrote e-mail to father, "what's uppp? I make +10€/month in online poker, yo" He replied: "Go to work." Then I actually went to work in kindergarten for 5 months. That experience has been quite useful... "taking care of screaming person"... I totally get why that kid is screaming - but still - what to do then? When I did that work for 5 months, that kid opened a smartphone in kindergarten and started to play video games. I have never laughed harder in my life. When the 5 months ended, his mom was like: "do you want to take care of him again in another kindergarten next year?" I was like: "no, thank you. that's too far location" and all smiles. I always get away from this type of jobs, that's my sneaking nature. But yes, sometimes older people "too serious"

Continuing with 20€ poker BR on one site. Played intense 30min 4-tabling NL2 cashgame session, one of the tables HU, kids in next room, still ran to help younger kid for 6 seconds... didn't time out in HU! Gotta train those nerves. Up +0,05€ in 30 min.
I know ALL want for bigger things in this society, im just a retired "joker"... Had really good sleep this night for 11 hours after waking up 4am yesterday; would be nice to have some great sleep.
Girlfriend asked me to send requests to the 2 schools for payments, I have been working there for 5 weeks now in both schools (1to2h/week); but haven't recieved any payments. I'm quite interested what the sum will be in both schools, adding that data to my business management Excel spreadsheet would give me a lot of info about what is going on in my business. The deal was 30€/month for one student; but many students have been in and out and I don't know what the actual payments will be anymore.
Meanwhile triumphant/enthusiastic in poker has put the high-variance gamedev to lower priority; it really is possible to get stability in gaming by working hard on online poker. Aiming pro career again in online poker.
First payment of 30€ received for gamedev workshops, this is more than enough for me already and sends my monthly strongly to positive and green numbers. I should receive 17x that for September efforts; (510€ in total (300€ from one youth centers organization and 7x30€ from parents in private school)).
Also played a high-variance NL2 session, ended up +0,30€ in 30min; faced bad luck but also really good luck in the end, where the board double-paired on river and my top pair was now a stronger full house vs opponent's turned trips.
