TO ALL: What stakes/sites would you recommend for a serious/solid poker career? (been pro for 2+ years, but currently FLHE $50c BI to NL 2€ BI the last two years). Moved up to iPoker NL2 and played for ~1,4 years but now it's getting reg-filled ♦ Im a bit confused as career expectations in the area show that a lot of support is needed, but that support cannot be actually given without sports gaming practice. ?

I've been playing NL 25 on 888 and NL 20 on KK with modest success.
I couldn't make a living doing this though.
A hobby that returns even some money is good though.

Would love to have NL50 in my arsenal, then I could play any stakes on any site NL2 to NL25. Girlfriend is like: "Will your gamedev company help to repair the summer house? Is that possible?" Im like: "Yea it could buy it as office..."
Nowadays this area where we live is so down that even NL5 is serious money here... Gamedev workshops can currently make +450€/month for 11 hours of work/month; but for solo dev im definitely looking for cheaper end real estate for office.
Even if cashgames are too tough @NL10toNL25; im sure there are many soft tourneys still from $5 to $20 bi; im also eager to learn PLO for better table/game selection. Should be fun the next step, planning to move up to NL4 in 2026!
Here is my graph starting from January 2024, grinded alot FLHE4c ($0.50 BI) at the beginning, in the middle (July2024) I switched games to NLHE and moved up to NL2; and it isn't all correct as the tracker added +10€ when messing around with currencies. But overall winnings during these two years is actually around +250€ together with the tourneys, so doesn't matter that much that mistake (I didn't update tracker regularly).

What is flhe4c? Does that mean fixed limit with 4 cents big blind? How is that game and on which site do you play that? Thanks for your answer.
It's a different game, it's called "Fixed Limit Holdem" and 4c means the blinds are 1c/2c but on turn and river one can bet 4c. PokerStars is the only "legal" site I know that currently runs FLHE tables.

Well yes you need to draw the line somewhere, otherwise people start to flash GIFs and stuff.
It is an example how you can add "object with effect" to your game, the wheelspinspeed of car is relative to the horisontal speed of car and so on.

PokerSchool Lecture - "What's currently happening?" (i'm a bit busy so I make it with just text, without video this time)
* We all make plans that we think must happen, but those are always still plans, which means, in truth they don't happen by themselves.
* Set small goals, do actions towards these goals and check progress from goals while in the middle of doing those goals.
* This creates healthy habits and organized, beautiful, action-filled life
*Example: Person: "I'm not crushing NL200!!"
Solution: "I will play NL10 for 10 hours every month and study weekly. Surely this will give me edge vs this player pool."
* So we look at what's currently happening, and how we can change that by setting small goals. (those goals are then the core of it)

Yeah i figured that this is a fixed limit poker game. Checked it out a bit and its almost all the time dead with sometimes 1 table runing.

Yes there are sometimes regs tablestarting $5/$10 to $50/$100 but other than that you also need to be willing to take anyone hu up to $2/$4... they don't promote flhe actively at the moment for some reason, it pretty much died after Full Tilt Poker ceo got arrested or something in 2012? I guess you don't know why they don't actively promote that at the moment.
Brought something new today to this week's gamedev classes: "basics of programming". This was totally different approach than what we have done the first 9 weeks, but they need it to progress in gamedev and they were very interested. Tomorrow the same for smaller kids I guess, they have already asked for it.. but yea 9 weeks of teaching gamedev for +40€/hour without teaching programming, good job taavi1337 from poker world.

I used to work as a substitute teacher, and one of my most frequent gigs was filling in for the computer science teacher. Along the way I learned enough about programming, computers etc to land a job as the IT guy at a major brewery, then at a printing plant.
Nowadays, kids start learning about computer technology in primary school.

Yes in a way we do very specific programming. There's X-axis and Y-axis such as in mathematics, and by writing code we can move an image on these axises, when the player presses a key. We can also automate the speed of these movements by defining a variable first, so it moves equally in all 4 directions (~fun example).
Had intense dreams last night about how I was trying to explain software-related things to people... But it went really well the "basics of programming" gamedev lesson for smaller children. I can continue on programming in both schools the next week! 
But meanwhile celebrating the end of week of course, has been a really great breakthrough this month!! Eating sweets, chips and drinking coffee at 6pm - because I can. Because I can, my friends!
Different poker goal this month and achieved! Instead of the normal +5€/month goal I had "5 hours of NL2+ gameplay/month" goal this month and I reached it! Very educative.
