stick to mtt stt are shitty few fish few roi. have a base game of 180's then when you have more money then you know what to do with take shots at bigger variance games, really only sure way to become a mtt pro without luckboxing. Play more tables to raise your hourly your not gonna get much better 4 tabling and anaylsing your play at under 10$ tourneys. Your going to average say 30% roi 4 tabling instead of 28% 20+ tabling and it helps the variance

Not rly, the 6max reg speed are ridiculously soft.. But yea, im def gonna start playing those 180 mans because it will help me improve my game more than stts. I dont rly want to be a mass tabling machine, i cant see myself playing more than 9 tables tbh. Even if it would cost me some $$, i like to take my time to make each decision and thats not gonna be possible if i play 20+ tables. Plus i dont think my game will improve very much if im just gonna autopilot 20+ tables.

Hmm, probably, but the variance in big field mtts is rly rly huge.. I would like to focus on those 500/1k cap players, i think my edge here is much bigger and variance is way lower. But im for sure gonna play non cap too, like the $3,3 6max or some low buyin Bigs.

100% roi ain't obtainable. At least not in any buyin worth your time.

You say you wanna play less tables to improve but your already near peak roi. The logical business perspective is to move up or add more tables. You have to think what you average per game not what you win. You played 389 games in the last month and you average 1.50$. so on average your really only making under 600 on average which is int even rent. After months to a year of grinding you might average 1.70 a game which is still not nearly enough to survive off. God I turned into leatherass. Really depends what you want out of poker though

anything from 10-20$ MTT with fields over 1k ROI can easily be over 100%, imo even higher buy ins reachable if you work on your game and exploit people. so if you average a buy in of lets say 15$ and play bout 400 MTTs/month, which is easily doable (did it 3 months in a row) and play ~8 tables at once you'll get 12k

400 MTTs will take aprox 180h, which is a 9h work day, easy game. You just have to have the time and mindset

So the peak is 4k a month? thats not that good for a peak. Even if 100% roi is attainable who makes more in this scenario. Player a plays 30 tables of 180 turbos averaging 25 minutes each at 30% roi. Player two plays 4 tables of 15 min blind tournaments at 100% roi. Not sure what the average would be would depend on the player but they take 8 hours to win so lets say 2 hours?

nah, you missunderstood me, that's 12k/ month playing mostly 10min blind levels and i said playing 8 tables, which i prefer much more.

yeah, they do take ~10 till end, so having endurance is crucial, as there is where your winrate comes from.

I have read somewhere, that good players estimate, they even had 50% ROI in the 1k tuesday, which used to be on FTP.

major tournaments have a great return I just think people need a lower variance base game and from there branch out

I definitely feel the same way, i dont see myself playing just majors (well not actually majors atm, i would not call $11 The Big as a major but you know what i mean).. I'll be def focusing more on capped tourneys and on 180-man, which have significantly lower variance.

November summary

As i have to do a lot of things for school, like homeworks and some studyaments, i feel like this is the right time to write a long post about my pokers and real life.

Money-wise, I have had my second most successful month of my balla poker career. I have made approximately $1,6k (about $150 in sngs, rest in mtts) and i really feel like mtts are something i can have a big success in in future.

Some stats:
Tournaments played (incl. 180-man): 84 (3 were PLO)
ITM: 19/84
Final table: 4/84
Avarage buyin: $4,90
Avarage field size: 1595
ROI: bout tree fiddy
Total profit: $1488

Notable cashes:
$568,75 - 2nd place, 9-max NLHE, 1k players cap, $5,5 buyin
$540 - 2nd place, 8-max NLHE, 1k players cap, $4,4 buyin
$400 - 3rd place, 8-max NLHE, 1k players cap, $4,4 buyin
$142 - 6th place, 6-max NLHE, 500 players cap, $8,8 buyin

Garphs:

Spoiler

There will be no garphs. Both my HEM and PT3 are totally fucked up. But who cares anyway. I guess you can imagine a picture of 3 big steps and a small one.

Real life updates:
I really love uni. People here are really really awesome and i actually enjoy going to school for the first time since like first grade. I feel like all women here love me. And, probably next tuesday, i'll have a date with the hottest chick i met here. As Tony G would say, "Now, im the captain".

Oh, and i hate math. I mean, i'll never in a million years use any of the shit we're studying. It is really just so annoying that i have to waste my time doing something I wholeheartedly hate, while i could be doing something that i actually enjoy.

And what really pissed me off was my math teacher (she obv has a crush on me, but she's like 35 years too old for me and about 15 years old too old to be considered a cougar, so i'll pass on that one). Last time we wrote the test, after we all handed them to her, she picked mine, went thru all my answers and obv found one that was wrong. Then she made this "OMG what a faking idiot from northern europe, how do these people even last this long, its so sick, they have no concept of math" look and read that answer out loud as if it was the most hilarious thing she ever read. Well, that actually may very well be true, she told us some jokes and wow, what the fuck.

What really annoys me is the fact that my answer was not funny (it was just a standart mistake that people make all day long) at all and therefore there was no real reason for her to read it other than to ridicule me. And really, who the fuck does that, esp as a teacher?

My class image is such that i never know anything and im kinda cocky, so i guess she just wanted to show me whos the man and make me look like a jerk. GG teacher.

Goals for December:
:spade: Play 85+ scheduled mtts (i know lol samplesize, but i only really play on fridays and saturdays and who knows how much i'll be able to play)
:spade: Make some money.
:spade: Impress that chick on the date.
:spade: Pass some exams.
