Well i mean if you're not calling of a shove with 93s on that board why play it in first place? You flop 2 backdoors, you go.
First hand I don't think you should raise that flop. As you said, you are just isolating yourself against better hands bar flush draws. All the 88-JJ and such medium hands are folding to a raise, whereas if you flat here you can get another street out of them. I'd probably play as you did on the turn to protect against the few straight draws that have shown up as well as that flush draw from the flop. Obvious check behind on the river, if he donked there i'd probably be folding as well. Well played imo.
@ QT hand:
- raise waay bigger. u play rly deep and u have position. i would raise to 9.50 or maybe even bigger if he is rly bad.
- bet/fold river. u have a ton of value vs AQ, KQ, KK, AA, T9, JJ;, AT, KT or 89 (mostly in hearts and dont believe)
- only KJ beats u. sets would probably re-raise turn, esp when u raise so small. def b/f river!!!!!!!
value value value. dont be biased/fooled by the outcome in this particular hand. longterm im sure u lost a ton ov ev here. especially bvb u will get called even lighter.
we learned that ppl dont fold! thats why we dont bluff much. thats why we said value value value!!!! so its not correct to say "i didnt see many worse hands calling on the river"

I think you just got pwned by TwiceT The funny thing is that I pretty much agreed with you until I read TwiceT's post... a testament to my fishy critical thinking in poker. Of course, there is never a wrong analysis, and you also said things that makes sense. Keep going strong! It seems like you're starting to pwn NL25 now, the only question that arises is if you shouldn't start making a transition from rush to normal non-sicko-action SH since black friday? Dunno how rush tables are, but I can't imagine they're totally unaffected. Of course, being a sucker for promotions, you're probably grinding out the rush ring game tickets.

I think he's almost always on some sort of draw, and therefore has the nuts or nothing on the river, which is why I checked behind. I have a coaching session with TT tomorrow night, so I think I'll talk to him about this. He's usually right (well, always so far, but nobody's always right (except me when my students ask me a maths question obv)), so I've probably misunderstood something.
Rush traffic is the same as ever as far as I can see. I'm not playing at a time designed to net lots of US fish though, and the traffic seems OK up to NL200, so I think I'll be alright with rush for the time being (lol), but you never know when TT is going to throw me a curveball and make me play FR or HU or Razz or whatever. 
And yes, I am a sucker for promotions and I am grinding out my bonus, but I don't know what I'm going to do with a $20 ring game ticket. Probably open a table of NL10 rush and try to get it up to $50 playing shit or bust like a maniac.
