Question from a fish at this game bossman: That hand shows AAAKQ, what would be the likelihood of villain having worse trips in such a case? I looks to me like you got them all blocked except jacks, or would 9s and Ts play similarly? I suppose villain's experience/skill also makes a difference.

A lot of players could re-raise post-draw w/ TTTxx JJJxx, some w/ worse.
This particular player can re-raise w/ a busted flush draw.
I'm pretty sure that he used to do that vs me -- and perhaps only vs me -- since I actually can play bet/fold post draw.
For those times when I'm at a reggy table, I need to figure out a way to balance those, so that I don't overdo the b/c, b/f and x/r lines.
At least one other player -- oddly also from the Ukraine -- re-raises me, and seemingly only me -- post-draw. He is a treat, though, as I can cap him post-draw w/ AAAxx and expect to get paid. Assuming I ever get anything decent ever again, of course ♠_cry:

I still lost a few stunners -- two people draw one to two pair, both hit a full house.
There is an 8.5% chance you'll hit a four-outer, and the same for the other guy.
So the odds of both of you hitting are 137:1 (7% chance). This has happened to me twice in the last two days.

Real Life
I did two rare night shifts Friday and Saturday.
Thankfully rare -- no matter when I get to bed I'm up at 06:00 or thereabouts.
So I'm rather sleep-deprived atm.
The 1st Monday in September is Labour Day in Canada -- the last long weekend of summer.
So naturally anyone with any sense has left town.
My night shift duties are to fill in for the production manager, who is required to make any decisions in the plant. Trouble is, I really don't know the best thing in most situations.
So, I ask the crew for their recommendations, and go with that -- after all they've been running the place for 15 years.
However, that's not the story.
About two hours before the start of my shift, I get a phone call saying that the plant's network is unreachable.
In the olden days, I had authority to call the ISP, and get it fixed.
Since network control nation wide was centralized, though, that authority resides in Head Office.
Without a network, we can't get the plate images and circulation data necessary to print the paper.
Now for the mind game.
I felt like the passenger in a drunk driver's car. You know you're in mortal danger, but there is bugger all you can do about it, and making any attempt to affect the outcome of the ride increases the danger.
So, I hopped in the car, drove to the plant, and delegated the task of contacting HO to one of my staff.
By the time I actually arrived at the plant, HO had managed to get things working.
Stand down from red alert captain!

Nice, but only lasted a few hands. I used my stack effectively, and maintained a top-20 position, until close to the end, when I ran into a spell where I didn't have the cards to take on the shorties.

While playing the tournaments, I had two tables of FL $0.10/$0.20 going, and played well over 600 hands at a winrate of 6BB/100 -- nowhere near the constant mayhem of earlier in the week.

I had a turn in the luckbox today.
Two actually.
In the first, I sat down to a table of FL $0.10/$0.20 5-Card Draw and had trips, pats, drawn flushes and boats and was up 15 big bets in 3 orbits. Stunning reversal of last week.
I fed a little back, but still it was a WOW session.
Not that I didn't have such hands last week, it is just that today those hands held.
Nice.
Today's summer challenge (now 0/12 cashes) was to win 3 zoom hands at showdown.
I normally have a VPIP of between 20 and 25%, go to showdown less than 30% of the time, and win just over 50% of those.
From that I figured I'd need to play about a hundred hands
((3/.5)/(0.3))/0.2
in order to win 3 at showdown.
I played 17 hands.
I folded each blind once.
I got a walk in the BB once
I stole successfully twice from the BU
I saw the flop 3 times. Once when checked to in the BB, and twice when my steal attempt was called.
I won all three -- at showdown.
Done.
Easy game.
Now to win a flipament!
Speaking of winning, I won the lottery Friday night.
$20.00 is winning, right?

I've entered nearly all the challenges, a noteable exception being winning an SnG which costs $1.50; too much for this fish. I have min-cashed three at $2 ish each so far and bubbled three more.
And yes, given the odds of winning anything $20 is good! ♠_love:
I've completed every challenge up to today except for the 2 requiring new deposits. I didn't bother with those as I have sufficient funds on there already.
In the what is it 20 odd free rolls up to day I have had 4 cashes and each one was for exactly $1 for a total win of $4. ppfff

I've been doing these on my iPad at lunchtimes or in the evenings. Total winnings so far, sweet Fanny Adams.....but free EV is free EV. 
I played the last of the challenges tonight -- Play 1 Heads-up SnG.
The cheapest BI was $1.50, but consider that the cost of entering the flipament, and away I go.
I won it before the end of the 2nd blind level.
Are they always this easy?
Probably not. I rather suspect that my opponent had also never played a HU SnG before, either. If I never play another one, I can say for the rest of my life, "I've won every HU SnG I've ever played -- and all of them before the 3rd blind level".
In other news, I have cashed in 3 out of the last 4 freerolls I've enterred -- two in the top 2%.
Think I'm ready to play MTTs you actually have to buy in to?

5-Card Draw
Word got out today that I was donating cash at the FL $0.10/$0.20 5-Card Draw tables.
Everyone who sat down was dealt a hand slightly higher than mine -- and I was getting some pretty decent hands.
After 850 hands, I called it quits, down 32 BB.
After supper, I came back, and in 41 hands I had over half of that back. Go figure.

We have a "universal remote" as well as the TV remote.
Tonight Mrs Vorpal was paging through the guide, and as she paged up, I paged down and vice versa.
She was getting right snitty until I let out a giggle.
Poker was crappy today.
I did fine at NL 2, but all my SnG were 2nd, 3rd or 4th places, and no freeroll cashes.

Ewww.
I had one of those days where every time I got trips, somebody has something better.
<sigh>
Had a pat straight busted by a guy drawing 3 hitting a boat. Those hurt.
On the other hand, I had a guy on my immediate right playing 75/45 and raising 100% from the SB. Nice.
I took his money hand after hand, and paid it out to one of the other player any time I actually had a decent hand (see above re: trips).
Good grief guy -- If you're raising 45% you're raising every pair and a few no-pair hands besides.
He would bet, I'd raise. Each draw 3.
He bet, I called or raised depending on my hand. If I raised he invariably folded, so I started raising all of 'em. I don't think he ever called a raise post-draw.
Weird.
Even with that guy backfilling me, I STILL lost 2.5 BB/100 over 400 hands.
Yikes!
Oh yeah, and I had 3 pat hands where all of a sudden, everyone decides they want to fold this time. Sheesh!
Anyway, I am taking two days off work tomorrow to work on the yard.

Nasty buggers. They're considered an invasive species here. It would be tolerable if the berries were half-decent, but these ones are seedy and sour.
It is going to be a hard slog for two whole days. I'll be "helped" by my two teenage grandsons which means I feed 'em, pay 'em and coax 'em to keep working all day.
