Today was wierd, I had JJ like 20 times, was up to begin with then down for the majority of the day then finished well like I did yesterday.
Only 20% left on the bonus so almost there.

Well today was bad, I started off well, then dropped a bit, then rose again then got doomswitched. As you can see from the graphs EV I had some bad beats at the end aswell to round things off.
Here is where the doomswitch started, I had 3 NL30 tables open and a NL50, this guy was playing really loose and kept stealing my BB, so I arrive with AQs in the BB he limps so I raise, he re-raises, we get it all in and he ends up with aces. I'm happy with my play I just think it was really unlucky, I believe he could have done it with a wide range of hands so for him to have aces is just unlucky I guess:

Yeah for me it was more of a player read, even if the read may have been wrong I still feel I was unlucky to run into aces as he could have done that with a wide range of hands imo, but thats just me. ♦
Today I didn't play much poker, I had a friend over and we went to see AC/DC at the O2 arena in London, it was awesome, Angus yound may be 54 but is still amazing.
So I didn't get much chance to play much poker, played a little before my friend came round a little after we got back. Managed to win a fair bit in both sessions, which therefore proves a point in poker its quality not quantity as today was one of my bester ever days.
I'm moving back to University tommorrow so will not be playing as much, i've only got about 12% left on the bonus so will try and complete that then I might withdraw some for booze money

Didn't get much chance to play again today, I moved back up to uni this morning so had a session this evening and once again it went really well, having one session per day obviously seems to work nicely!
I broke the $1k br mark today which i'm very pleased about, what a milestone, bring on the $10k!!!
As i;m back at uni now (start monday) I'm not sure how much time i'm going to have to play, I want to finish off the last 10% of the bonus and withdraw and maybe take a bit of a break from poker. Then when I get back into it i might find another bonus to clear and maybe start at NL50.

Whenever you go up I lose. My BR went from 965 (I was already in pre-celebration for 1k milestone) to 800$
Yours goes from 800 to 1k.. coincidence? I THINK NOT!
I must find and destroy you to get rid of my downswings!

@ Dragar; haha interesting theory. I have at test for it, i'm going to be at university soon so won't be able to play that much so if you go on a massive breakeven stretch then we know its true!
@ VirtuaGod; here's my all time graph, its missing a few hands at the beginning as they are on my other computer, but this has most of them. Started off with $250 br.
How did u change your game after that nasty downswing (from 600 to 300) cause you had some nice upswings after that. That's not just variance is it? Did you correct any leaks?

To be honest I didn't really, I don't particularly remember it as much of a dowswing, all I remember is that I got the money in good and that I was a bit unlucky, I also remember the deck being pretty unfavourable to me (e.g flush would hit on the river with me holding TPTK etc) and therefore just thought it was variance so didn't think much of it and therefore got over it.
Had another pretty sick day today, the fish just keep giving me their money and i'm more than happy to take it. Played the whole day on NL30 and tried a bit of 6 tabling. I also played some sng DON's, I started off well winning quite a few then lost a few in a row and stopped. I also played a $10+1 Mad Tilt sng, where you sart with like 60 chips and the blinds start at 15/30 I think, I managed to win it. They are I would say about 85% luck so I won;t be playing many more of them but it was fun as I managed to win the only on I played.

A short session today, i'm back at uni so pretty busy. The BR continues to grow! The only big AI I had today was an AI pf against a laggy player, which imo is a good move. He turned over KK, a bit of a cooler but oh well.
Almost finished the bonus which is when I will withdraw and will re-evaluate my poker options

So today I was pretty bored at university and not much was going on so managed to get a fair bit of poker in. I was getting a little bored with cash today so decided to play some DON's again, once again I started off well but finished poorly. Played mainly $10's but also a couple of $20's, after playing them I decided to have a look at stars and see how much rake you have to play there, for the $10 turbo's its only $0.40 and the $20 tubo's its only $0.80 where as its $1 and $2 respectively, which makes bwin a rip off in rake and that much harder to get a good ROI. But one of the main reasons I was playing them is you get lots of player points from them and I only need another 5% on the bonus. The last few I played there were alot of flips which I seem to loose all but one, if it had been the otherway round I would have probably cashed in most over them but oh well thats poker. I played a bit of cash after aswell which went well, 3 tables of NL30 and 1 of NL50, manged to grab a nice pot on my NL50 table which was good. I'm gunna be so happy when I clear the bonus, I can't wait!

Played a fair bit today even though I should have been doing my coursework, I was so close to clearing the bonus I kept playing, play a few DON's again today which went ok, I think i'm slightly down overall on them so will stop playing them, all they were good for really was generating rake for the bonus.
Cash games continue to treat me well, I feel really confident in my game atm and feel like when I do make a mistake I know what i'm doing wrong and should be able to correct it in the future.
And finally, the $500 bonus ps.com gave me is now cleared which i'm very happy about. Today on the german forum today I found a list of bwin bonus codes which can be used at anytime without a deposit, if anyone is interested I might post them in the bwin section here. So now i've found these I may just stick with Bwin as its really fishy and I think I can beat it and of course I get lots of free money for just playing which is pretty much the same as rakeback although it doesnt come as often. I tested it out with a $30 bonus which has gone on fine, 300PP to clear, I think my plan of attack is to clear the small ones first then go onto the bigger ones, now at NL50 they should clear quite fast, if I make it to NL100 they will clear really fast as I think the 5 max rake goes up from a cap of $1.50 per pot to $2/3. I think I will move up to NL100 with about 40 buyins and a convincing winrate at NL50.
I now have almost 36 buyins for NL50 so will hopefully be staying there for the forseable future.
Now on with the coursework which I should have been doing earlier, if I do enough I might play some more later.
A couple of goals for the future:
Get platinum status on ps.com (only 150 points off)
Get a br for NL100 (at the moment almost 18 buyins, need 35 to 40)
