Lol at the 10 straight bust in the beginning ...

Hi there , soon a year will pass since i ve created this blog , i can say i made some good friends during that blog and i saw a progress in my game so i dont regret making that blog.Allthough i didnt update it as much as i wanted.Last 2 months were a bit hard for me especially after the half of november until early december were i ve lost more than 2k$ running something like 60 bis under ev at 36s.Of course i dont think its a coincidence i ve started loosing (even though my ev is at a nice 6% roi after 1k+ at the 36s)when i started 9tabling instead of 6tabling.But i wanted to play 60$ sngs until the end of the year , i wasnt too disappointed with the results but i wanted to have 100bi rule to play the 60s.I was thinking making a thread for selling some action but lessonthree wanted to buy all my action anyway so didnt bother of opening a thread.It came to be better to sell my action to a friend cause i didnt complete the full deal we ve made . I ve played much less of what we ve discussed but still he made some profit so i am happy about that.

So after summing up for the year i ve completed my first goals i ve made 1 year ago.I didnt set impossible goals to be honest but still happy to made them .Started the year with 2k$ and wanted to end it with a 10k$ br and a shot at the 60$sng.In the mid of the year i saw i could surpass that goal so ive decided to change and try for a 10k$ pure profit.I was so close until the end of november where that huge downswing hit my br.At one point i was more than 2.5k$ down but despite that i didnt give up , some good friends (lessthanthree,arnold) boosted my confidence,each one with his way and i thank you for that guys! started reviewing more , went back to 6 tabling and had a nice run at the 60 that made my downswing a little less.

For the new year i want to start learning a new type.I ve decided to give a shot to hucash.The reasons for that choice are
a)I see that i work much better with less tables and reading the opponent than playing many tables.I dont see myself playing more than 6 table at sngs which is a disaster to put such a low volume as a sng player.
b)I ve got a bit bored of the sng format , i want to try something new and i find it easier to table select in hu that in sng format.
c)I like to have the ability to take control of how long my sessions will last.As a sng player thats not possible cause when u start a sng u need to play until the end.
d)I am looking for a less variance game.

I wont start playing em directly cause i want to make small steps each time.Probably i will continue playing sngs cause i will have a 700$ bonus to clear(end year and i ll buy cash bonus from black member store)and also i want to start 36s again cause my ego doesnt let me leaving a limit that havent beat.Also i am near finishing the university, having some courses left and need to start my thesis and work for 6months for practice(its a requirement to get the diploma)so i dont know how much time and strength i ll have left.I havent set any goals yet ,have to try out how it will work with all the above but in my mind i want to get at least 2x-3x the profit i had this year.

Me too. Will start with NL BSS SH (NL2, wanna beat micros first). Started read "Easy Game" as I were decided to do it, I like it, it's good book.

I'm SnG grinder aswell. I follow your blog regularly, it's in my favourites. I found myself in same situation, though I play micro limits, - I felt sometimes
boring, like routine with SNGs, so I feel psichologically and mentally strength enough for cash.

I ve just realized that i havent made a new post since the new year . First happy late birthday for my blog since its already 1 year (+1 month old ) from the first time i posted.
Second i havent played poker for the last 3-4 weeks or so (except some needed days to reach the ironman).The reason is simple , EXAMS. I am in a 4 week exam period atm and i ve put a lot of effort and it seems my hours of study start to pays off . I am doing well and i hope the next semester will be the last one and i will finally graduate.

I am very eager to play poker again ,i ve already made a solid schedule and i am going to approach poker in a more professional way ( not that i am becoming a pro,just more organized approach).More details will be posted after friday which is my last exam.So midstakes players you have 4 days left to enjoy your tables cause after that i am determined to crush them !

Ladies and Gentlemen I am BACK !

After 3 days lying in bed with a fever cause of the famous flu i got i am now ready to blog and play poker again.Many things have changed in the past 2 months.Most changes were in my mind . A new prespective of seeing things and value more stuff in life which i was missing before.Life in general is going very well , i am in my last semester at my university(at last) and ready to graduate and waiting the new opportunities that will rise.

Poker wise i ve a much stronger mindset now and decided to face poker in a bit more serious way but not having sights for becoming a pro.So i decided to organize a bit my poker time .Of course one main reason i chose poker in first place was that i could control the time i spend and it wasnt like a part time job that u always have to show up every day to work 4 hrs for example.Thats why my schedule wont be strict but i will give my best to keep it .

So first major change is something i was lacking off a lot in the past months.Reviewing!
I need to spend more time to work on my game so from today i will try to be as active as i can in the evaluation forum as a first step of improving my game . I would also like to start sweet sessions again so if there is any sng player out there playing 36$+ and wants to sweat ,contact me .I will also commit more time to update that blog cause one of the short term goals i want to achieve is to take poker blog of the week! So anything u dont like in my blog and something you want to see that i dont provide at the moment i am opened to hear suggestions.

Today was one more loss session.I ve even manage to bust out from 2 sngs otm having 5k stack ...But really how many coolers ... I must be vs AA like 6 times in 14 sngs,2 of them in hu.. not to talk that every hand i had my opponent just had better .Also i saw some ugly moves even for regs but didnt have the luck to make them pay... for long run is good but i havent ran above ev since october i think .. (mb for 1-2 sessions).As <3 says "you only need a good day" , well i am waiting for that 1k day for some months now

I doubt u saw me last week cause i didnt play at all :)But u re right i do play at the 60$ now , my first shot was on december and now i mix 36$-60$.Do you play at ft also i guess?Sn? I already play vs many regs and i am trying to table select better -.-
