I used to play 2k hands a day 5 days a week at NL100 using SSS and got diamond status by that. I was 24 tabling so I got like 1k hands an hour. Keep up the good work!

Well, I can't play more than 12 tables, cause my computer drastically slows down. And recently I only play about 8 tables on average, because of the constant table selecting and monitoring - I close all the tables right after the fish have left and open new tables from the top of the list. I think table-selecting takes at least half of the time and is one of the main reasons I'm doing well lately.
Another 1000 hands today and another 7,5 buy-ins won. Preparing for the night, americans should arrive any minute now

Yesterday I lost it. Completely.
I was bored and just couldn't start grinding SSS (first time in 2 months I felt it so damn boring). I played some HU instead. I totally suck at it, so obviously I started losing and tilt started to grow. It was up and down, but mostly down. I was down 300$ at one point, but just couldn't stop. Then I decided, that NL100 should be more interesting (and more chances to make up the losses). In my state of mind I was back at the black jack table and roulette wheel, just like good old days..
It took only few hands until I got 75$ from a guy who went all-in with his flushdraw against my top pair, he reloaded and the next hand gave me 62s. He raised, I called and flop came 345. The rest is history..
Only 125$ to go, I decided to move back to NL50 and I actually started to outplay my opponents (at least I felt so). The last hand saw me with pocket jacks, standard raise from me, 3-bet from villain, 4-bet from me and call. Both were 140bb deep. Flop was low, villain checks, potsize bet from me and call from villain. Turn brought an ace and I knew that I was beat at that point, as villain shoved his remaining chips. I called, because I had only some 20bb-s to call. River was a jack and villain revealed his AK. I was back where I started and promised to never play HU again 
I have to find a way to ban myself from HU tables..
My last big session at Saturday night finally brought a downswing - I lost 15 buy-ins within 1000 hands, where my all-in EV was certainly above 0. But as I knew it was normal and it didn't affect my game, also the tables were loose, i played another 1000 hands and won back 8 buy-ins. Also played 500 hands yesterday after this crazy HU gambling and won some bb-s, despite bad variance yet again.
BR stands at 1600$
Just one word - downswing. Or two actually - downswing and tilt.
BR was down to 1100$ at some point, but yesterday I finally got my mind clear and started to win again. Have managed to recover to 1480$, but still -250$ down compared to the end of last month.

I woke up this morning with the feeling I had back then when I left my monthly salary into the casino..
.. I remember, I opened my eyes around 02.00 and couldn't fall back asleep. Opened my laptop and started to grind. Got a dream start and was soon up 6 buy-ins, then things started to happen. I quickly lost those 6 buy-ins, then another one and another one.. I don't really remember, when I tilted, but at some point I asked myself "what the fuck am I doing???", closed all the tables and went back to sleep. Gross loss 15 buy-ins, net loss 9 buy-ins. About the amount I spend on food each month. I think I mostly lost coinflips, but about 5 last stacks due to pure tilt.
As said before, I need to cash out a lot at the end of the month, and if I continue to lack discipline and self-contol, maybe it's better to cash out everything and quit poker..

Decided to start taking in seriously.

The last hand though, I would check behind on the River , 3betted pot with TPGK for a deepstack 
nice pot though but imo it's kinda risky
Before I started to abuse him, he was superagressive and played really bad, but made several suckouts, a gutshot straight on the river for example, when money went in on the turn. That's how he got his stack. I saw that he bet big as soon as he felt weaknes, that's why I slowplayed my flush. I also saw that he called down all the possible and impossible draws and when he got sth, he started to bet. The last hand I knew he would have check-raised me with AA or KK at some point, on the river latest not to risk with my check-behind. So I put him on lower pocket pair or 9x and shoved, hoping him to call. It took about 25 seconds before he did.
I agree it's risky, but he was really bad, and other players allways folded to my isolation raises. So it was basicly HU strategy (all these hands happened inbetween 15 hands I think).
BTW Gerv, could you tell me if PT3 works in bet365 and if so, could you sell me a hand database?
I also saw you have a team in Hattrick.org I used to be hardcore hattrick player myself, unfortunately had some bad beats and didn't reach Meistriliiga (Estonian first league, was 1 victory away from it), also lost Cup final 2:3 against one of the best Estonian managers, who bought 4 divine players the day before the final, when I was sick and couldn't get up from the bed to counteract..
But I was behind the only two medals our national team has (gold and bronze), as I was a NT coach right before our success and started the NT players training scheme that brought us this success, also ran this during the time we won those medals.
I had a break last few seasons and fell to bottom league, but have gathered enough money to go straight to Meistriliiga, which I will start doing from this season. Also training our NT goalie.

but again if you look at wsop, they play no limit there so...I don't dislike FL, but NL is the only sh*t that really makes you feel like a god (at least from time to time)
