Adriia18 crushes his 24 hour Spin Challenge....again
We chat to our coach after his second successful challenge to play 24 hours of $100 Spins while earning an evROI of 3% or more.
How much easier was it physically and mentally than when you did this challenge last year?
Adriia18: I actually believe that my mental preparation was much better than the first time because of the past experience but my physical preparation was much worse because I didn't have the necessary sleeping time and my meal preparation was terrible.
You won more actual cash this time, did being ‘up’ make it easier to stay energised and motivated?
Adriia18: Actually I was only up during the last part of the challenge. I think the high EV and the support I received through the streaming helped me to stay motivated.
The player pools are small in $100 Spins, do you think the regulars knew about your challenge when you played them?
Adriia18: I am not sure, but I played with some regulars that know me, some of them part of SpinLegends, so I believe they were aware of my challenge.
"48 hours would be bad for my health"
You were aiming for above 3% evROI, you got over 12%, was this run-good still or were you in the zone?
Adriia18: It definitely was run good. I believe I played close to my best poker game and I believe with a normal run I would have been around 7% evROI. The run postflop was very good and the table distribution was good during almost all the challenge.
If you were to think of another challenge around Spins what would it be?
Adriia18: I just finished this challenge so I haven't had time to think about the next one haha. Some people were talking about doing that every week or doing 48 hours straight next time. I believe that would be insane and bad for my health!

Adriia18: I think I have proven that with the right preparation and the necessary knowledge there is still room to beat the highest stakes in Spins.

Adriia18: Nice but short. My poker career doesn't finish here so I need to keep improving and keep working so I don't get left behind compared with other regulars.
