In today's interview, we would like to introduce to you our new PR Manager B2C, Andre Kramer, who is better known on PokerStrategy.com under the nickname HaenschenKlein.

Following on from the news about the 2009 company review, I'm sure you can tell that there was some growth at PokerStrategy.com during the past year. To be able to continue to offer you the best of the poker world, it is necessary to create new resources and to begin using many existing ones. To fulfil this requirement, has been on board with PokerStrategy.com as PR Manager B2C since the 1st of January.
PokerStrategy.com: Hey Andre, please introduce yourself to our members.
: Hey there. My name is Andre Kramer, 30 years old and I'm from Münster in Germany. I studied political science, communications and sociology there. I finished my studies in October, with a written exam about the plans of the former German government for using Access Blocking to censor websites by blocking them. My hobbies are football (Borussia Dortmund), music, skateboarding, snowboarding, poetry and of course… Poker.
PokerStrategy.com: Good point. Tell us about your poker career.
: I got in touch with poker in 2005 or 2006 I think. I saw the first broadcasting of tourneys and cash games and was instantly fascinated by the thrill. My first experiences were on live crapshots in my hometown. These were MTTs with a buy in of €15 and you could win a DVD player worth €50 lol. At that time, I didn't know what negative and positive EV meant in this game.
At the tables, I was talking with some guys about online poker and they told me about PokerStrategy.com and that you get $50 there. So I registered and since then, I have been an active member in the forums.
PokerStrategy.com: What was the reason you applied for Pokerstrategy.com and moved to Gibraltar?
: Well, in all my internships I focused on Public Relations. Usually, in a conservative company, your start in the Department of Public Affairs is dominated by enforcing the ideas of others. Pokerstrategy.com gives me the chance to enforce my own ideas. You get a lot of responsibilities, from your first day on, and therefore it is a perfect spot for starting a business life and career.
Another aspect for me was the Mediterranean lifestyle. I've already lived on Mallorca for one year when I was 21. It's unbelievable how 300 sunny days a year can influence your mood and health. All things are way easier if you ignore the weather forecast, because the sun is gonna wake you up anyway.
