Black Member Event XI: Kickoff on Friday
After just one more night's sleep, 126 Black Members from all over Europe will be headed to beautiful Leipzig, Germany to celebrate the eleventh edition of the Black Member Event. PokerStars will be sponsoring it for the first time ever.
Starting on October 8th, PokerStars and PokerStrategy.com are inviting the Black Members to the eleventh Black Member Event. All guests will reside in The Westin Hotel in Leipzig, Germany.
A total of 126 Black Members are expected to attend the event. They come from Germany, Russia, Spain, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Hungary and Austria. 75 of them will also be bringing their partners. Four PokerStars employees will also be present to give a comprehensive presentation and answer all the VIPs' questions.
Alongside these four employees, German Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer will also be in attendance to discuss recent poker developments with the Black Members.
27 employees of PokerStrategy.com, including and are travelling to Leipzig to ensure that only the the best care is given to all our guests.
The Event Schedule
The event will kick off with a champagne reception at he Westin Hotel, at 4pm on Friday. It will also feature an introduction from PokerStars. An elaborate dinner party then follows at the hotel, while the ladies will spend their evening at the restaurant "Sol y Mar", for the Ladies Dinner.
On Saturday, all guests can choose between either a tour of the city or a bowling event. New Black Members will have the chance to meet with our tailor, so that he can start tailoring our exclusive Black Member suit for them. Later that day PokerStars will host a workshop for all Black Members and after that it's time to suit up. The Black Member Party opens its doors that night in the Panorama Tower where all Black Members and guests will party on top of the city until early in the morning.

PokerStrategy.com will have two reporters on site, jonas and , who will keep you updated on everything that goes on at the event and provide pictures, background stories and gossip. This time around we will also testing out a video stream.
