Cannell555 Leads Mod Squad to Victory

With a strong tournament performance, cannell555 has taken the Mod Squad from last - to first place in the rankings. Grimzor shines with a top 50 finish.

In the first BOD, the Mod Squad was the only team not to pick up any medals in the rankings. Team leader Cannell555 wouldn't let this stand and took decisive action in last week. With an excellent 143rd placing, he secured an overall sweep with 3 gold medals and ranking points for the Mod Squad. This puts his team in first place ahead of the Media Maniacs and Team SoyCD.

While Cannell555 secured the points for furthest member and most money - the rest of the team also played a very solid tournament. Kruppe came ITM in 674th place, and both Chiller3k and Irishrope placed among the first 1,500. This was good enough for an average finish of 861 which was less than half of the next best team's. The 3 gold medals and the leaderboard position of first place is therefore more than deserved.

While all the remaining teams tied for runner up in terms of money won (with one ITM member each), the Media Maniacs pulled in 2 silver medals with second best average finish and second furthest member. Team SoyCD managed to secure 2 bronze medals.

The biggest cash of the week was made by a community team player though! Grimzor fought his way through over 4900 opponents before finally having to submit in 50th place. As such, he currently holds the record for the furthest BOD finish - which is worth one $50+5 ticket to the Daily Eight Grand should he manage to hold this position until the end of the season.
