Poker Blogs of the Week
This week, we pick two blogs that have recently been started by two of our community members to report on the short term poker targets that they have set for themselves. The two featured blogs are from and damastahro.
In the first blog, Diamond member ihufa sets his sights on playing in the €5,300 Main Event of EPT Berlin. With the event scheduled to start on the 2nd of March, can ihufa meet his target of earning $10,000 by playing heads-up SnGs and MTTs in just 20 days? Head on over to show your support!

Performances of the Week
This week is the biggest week that we've had so far in our 2009/2010 Million in a Year challenge. Thanks to a big cumulative update from joyceenbob, our total winnings graph has made a huge step up in this update. The total for this week was a massive $72,834.91.
Some of the brilliant performances that were reported by our community members this week include:
- harooon finished 1st and won $3,500 from a $109 buy-in tournament
- snodreliss earned $6,145 for 1st place in a $19,500 guaranteed event
- taavi1337 finished 53rd out of 49,388 players on Full Tilt Poker's Little Big Tournament and won $240
- moneybo won $3677.72 after beating 2218 players
- joyceenbob finished 1st in a $5k guaranteed event and won $1425.60
Million in a Year - Total Winnings (Week 27): $405,758.36
We've now gotten past the halfway mark and the results have been really encouraging thus far as compared to last years numbers. Keep up the good work and keep on reporting those wins!

Hot Poker Thread of the Week
Ever since Isildur1 made
such an impact in his short lived stint on the nosebleed stakes tables,
he has been the focus of many a poker discussions. Just recently, he
has made a comeback on Full Tilt Poker and his return has not gone unnoticed by our community members.
vladnz started a thread to announce Isildur1's return a couple of weeks ago and the discussion has really heated up this week after some sick swings for Isildur1 in the few sessions that he had been playing. Love him or hate him, you just got to be talking about him.

The GiBlog is updated & Starcraft II Beta has started
Theres also some pretty interesting threads that have
recently popped up on our community discussion boards. This features
many non-poker related topics. If you haven't been frequenting them,
you've probably missed these recent developments.
Firstly, has finally found time in his very busy schedule to update the super awesome GiBlog. This latest update talks about how vhallee his new friend has improved the life of both him and his colleagues in the PokerStrategy.com office.

II has just started! If any of you are so lucky to have gotten your
