Hot Poker Thread of the Week

Bluffs gone wrong and hero calls running into the unthinkable are not an uncommon sight when you're playing against the fish who "can't even spell poker". As the players improve their skills, so do their patterns start to resemble something you can identify and properly adapt to.

So how hard is it really to read a fish and figure out his strategy, if he has any? Our community member blackops888 opened a thread this week in which he asks for your opinion on whether the average players are easier to read than donks.

Do you think average players are easier to read than donks?

Poker Blog of the Week

In the summertime when the weather's high, you can stretch right up and touch the sky, when the weather's fine, you got a trip around Europe on your mind. Something along those lines describes vonki's decision to travel across Europe with some of her destinations including Holland, Germany, France and Czech Republic.

Starting the journey from her home in Sweden, she will meet many fellow PokerStrategists and if you can't join her in partying at one of her destinations, you can follow all the activities on and away from the poker tables in her blog.
