Hot Poker Thread of the Week

Home poker games can be a source of endless fun or nerve-wrecking frustrations. If you find yourself playing a home game and wish to make it a profitable experience, what approach would you take? escobario has started a thread this week on this subject.

In particular, he is interested in the viability of small ball poker and whether it is applicable to the "domestic vulgaris fish". He is uncertain whether following logic and strategies is even the best choice against such opponents. So what are your thoughts on this matter?

Poker Blog of the Week

ihufa has left a trail of his pokerprints in a blog this week. As one would expect, it involves crazy action and lofty goals. Namely roswellx and gudalemandele have entered a race with ihufa to see who will be the first to build up his bankroll to $5,000.

While ihufa and gudalemandele have started with $100, roswellx has joined the race late. Due to his self-proclaimed lack of skill compared to the first two, his starting value in this race is $1,000. Don't miss out on the action. You can find updates on the race in their blog.
