Development Of Our Video And LIVE Coaching Sections

With a new coaching plan and a refinement of our video section, we aim to continuously optimize our offer to the community.

Our strategy articles are the theoretical foundation for a lot of our players, while hand evaluations and forum discussions form the bridge towards active learning. For most of our players, the videos and live coachings are the backbone of their poker studies, though.

Differences Between Videos And Coachings

Most of the time, videos are used a lot more intensively than our live coaching - for obvious reasons: if you miss a coaching, it's over - while you can watch a video whenever you want and even work through it multiple times in case you feel like it.

Development Of The Video Section

As a consequence of this insight, the video output of the English community has continuously been increased. While we only published about 4 videos per week in February, we have now reached a number of 7 to 9 per week. We didn't just improve quantity, though - the quality has constantly been refined, too.

This was only possible thanks to our great video producers: kobeyard (1x FL high stakes per month), tribuncaesar (NL & PLO), twicet (NL, PLO & HU), teddythekiller (SnG & HU SnG) and jonathanlittle (MTT, SnG & HU SnG). With steinek, bahmrockk, ge5sterne and annakournikova (SSS), we were also able to enlist competent producers for the low stakes section.

Our goal is to continue the current trend by continuously ameliorating our video quality and  extending the available game variations.

Development Of The LIVE Coaching Section

There have also been optimizations to the LIVE coaching section on the 17th of June. While we didn't change much quantitatively, we hope to achieve a qualitative improvement. The plan was to devise a more balanced coaching plan between the different game variations and the status requirements by adjusting the times to prime time.
