Hola everybody! Have you missed me since our last adventure together? Well don't fret because I'm back with more cool tips and stories from the forums. This week, we kick off our journey with a classic question from new member scotty200480.
He asked: "Can anyone tell me what the ideal stake, where there are more serious poker players and less Donks, and where people respect your raises?"
alficor1 had the best answer: "You should def play heads up - the less players at the table, the less donkeys. You should play as high as possible."
But in all seriousness, please look for more donkeys on your tables and not less!

superyio wants to know if you guys think staking is +EV or not. Personally, I'm too much of a fish to get staked, and I can barely afford to stake myself, so I've never ever thought about the question of staking.
But alejandrosh seems like he knows what he is talking about though: "Staking is investing , so if it's done right it has to be +EV. Just like you "can" live from poker although it's not possible for many people."
If you guys have any opinions or have stories of your own staking deals gone good or bad, why not help a forumer out and send in a reply to superyio's question?

Every poker player goes through a bad streak every once in a while, but tobycs has the best (or is it worst) example of a downswing that I've seen in a long, long time.
"worst month ever and it's not even over yet. 11k roll is now 2k". He's lost over 3,000 big blinds this month, over 5,000 for the year, and had to move down NL200 to NL25.
After looking at his graph, I promised myself that I would never complain about my own downswings again.
