Hand evaluations

We introduced a new feature in our sample hand boards to guarantee a higher quality and a better overview.

PokerStrategy is steadily growing and so do our sample hand boards. By implementing new features we guarantee a better overview and a higher quality of our hand evaluations.

New avatars

A Professional Judge is labeled with this avatar.

Members who have distinguished themselves by the quality of their hand evaluations in our boards are labeled with this avatar and have the status Judge.

From now on these avatars represent the quality of our sample hand boards! Basically you can trust those hand evaluations. But as you know, to err is human and also our judges are not always 100% correct. We are glad about everyone who criticizes and participates in the hand discussions.

Evaluation of threads

When you are posting a hand, it will be evaluated by the hand judges and gets a check mark. In the forum it will look like this:

You can see which judge evaluated your hand.

Questions after the hand has been evaluated

These options appear as soon as you want to write an answer to a thread which ahs already been evaluated. If you just want to thank the members for their answers or are discussing with a member you can choose "Normal reply". If you choose the option "Advise the judge of taking another look at this thread" the check mark disappears and the judge will take another look at this thread. You will get additional feedback!

As long as a thread has a check mark the judges will concentrate on the other not-judged threads. That's why you should use this option if you have any questions!

Our goal is to evaluate every hand!
To make sure that we can evaluate all hands, we established a limit of 10 new threads per day in our sample hand boards. By doing this we do not want to "punish" the members who are posting a lot of hands - we are glad that you are doing this - but we want to guarantee a high quality of our hand discussions and hand evaluations. Besides that it is also important to discuss hands from the other members as well and not only to post one's own hands. That should improve everyone's game!
