If you feel like you’re not working towards something that you actually want, take some time to sit down with yourself and assess your goals. If you find that you want something else entirely, have the courage to start pursuing that goal instead.
Today, countless people will force themselves to work towards a destination that they don’t even want in the first place. This may work for a while, but over time their emotions will very likely win the war and they’ll quit. Why not avoid the inevitable pain of self-sabotage, and work towards something that you actually want? Your emotions dictate your behavior, and the emotions that drive your procrastination might be telling you something.
If you feel like you’re not working towards something that you actually want, take some time to sit down with yourself and assess your goals. If you find that you want something else entirely after your assessment, have the courage to start pursuing that goal instead. Sure it may take time, but you’ll feel a lot better day to day once you've aligned yourself with the direction that you actually want to go.
