Our tournament coach honigmund38 returns with another MTT video, this time on a rare, risky, but amazing when it works, move in poker.

Is there ever a good time to check raise the river as a bluff in tournaments? A lot of people would say no, because the river is such a binary stage of a poker hand and it could be very costly when it goes wrong.

But there are times when you catch your opponents doing something that doesn't make sense and you get the feeling you can take them off their hand (just like Sam Trickett did recently in one of the biggest hands of 2019 at the Triton Million).

This is a risky move if you don't know the right spots to do it in, so check out this video to get a handle on when to pull off the craziest bluff in poker.
