The PokerStrategy.com Elephant now has a new version ready for download, thanks to Elephant Development team.

Regarding the main changes in this latest version, ps.markus wrote in his blog entry: "We focused on migrating yet another parser (iPoker) and on incorporating some of the feedback we received regarding the SnG functionality." Let's see what that means in detail.

New feature: iPoker Support

The new Elephant version works now also for SnGs on iPoker. The iPoker parser has been moved to the new architecture in the latest Elephant version. This also made it possible to fix many parser-related cash game bugs.

SnG Support Improved

Thanks to the community feedback, the new version now contains several improvements in the SnG area. Most notably, all the players and their stacks are now shown in the detail view and in the exported BBCode format to enable proper hand judging. Additionally, the tournament details are included in the hand view as well. A smaller change fixes the inadvertent changes of the selection in the detail view during imports.

Minor Changes

A couple of other minor issues were fixed as well. Parsing issues in PartyPoker and Full Tilt Poker hands were corrected and the "grab last hand" feature was fixed and should be functional again.

Also, the setup methodology was updated to facilitate future patches. Unfortunately, previous versions have to be uninstalled manually, but the setup process will tell you so if that's case. Any hand histories that have already been imported are not affected by this.

Preview

Right now, our development team is working towards two big goals: an SnG HUD (Heads Up Display) and improvement of the cash game HUD.
