PokerStrategy Elephant: Version 0.50 & Roadmap
With the current version 0.50 of our poker software, PokerStrategy Elephant, Mansion Poker is also supported amongst other things. Now everything is set for the next set of big and small features.
What is the PokerStrategy Elephant?
Elephant for everybody
The PokerStrategy Elephant (PSE) is offering the following features even without a licence:
- extremely user-friendly software
- saves played hands in a database
- Analysis of profit and losses
- Presentation of the results in a graphic
- Forum discussion of hands with few clicks
Advantages of the licenced version (or during the 21-days trial phase resp.):
- thorough analysis tool
- Statistics overlay on the poker table
You will always have the most current version of the PokerStrategy Elephant available in the Download section. Currently, the version 0.50 is present which works flawlessly for almost every user due to a further HUD patch:

- Every platform on which our members are able to receive the $50 starting capital has now been integrated:
Titan Poker, PokerStars, PartyPoker, Full Tilt Poker - new addition is Mansion Poker. - Mistakes during the calculation of certain values have been removed
- The configurable HUD was revised again and is running stably, apart from a few exceptions (mostly with Mansion Poker).
- The well-known value VPIP is now also supported and integrated as a standard value in the HUD.
Licences, Trial Version and Grab'em for everybody
After the installation, every feature of the Elephant will work for 21 days. After that period, a licence is needed to fully use the software again. Details on how to receive a licence and unlock Elephant can be found here:

Even without the licence, Elephant is still a useful tool. Only the Analysis tab and the HUD features will be disabled. The software is still usable for checking your profits/losses.
The most interesting feature is the gathering and tagging of hands during the game, or afterwards even. Even without a licence, you'll still be able to post hands to our sample hands forum without a hassle. Use the Elephant as sample hand converter!
The Plans
To keep you up-to-date with the planned extensions of the Elephant, the developers have issued the following roadmap:
Version 0.60 (2 weeks of working time needed)
Beginner version for everybody. Getting started with the software and using it while playing poker is made easy with the simplified HUD and an analysis page. This version will also always be functional without a licence.
Version 0.70 (4 weeks of working time after V 0.60)
SnG Step 1: Elephant will have the same features as the TourneyManager software: Displaying graphics of ROI, ITM, position and profits/losses values.
Everest Poker will be supported as a further platform.
Version 0.80 (4 weeks of working time after V 0.70)
Integration of a new and revolutionary version of the ICM Trainer via the integration of the Future Game Simulation and Nash Ranges. All of your played ICM decisions can thus be checked by the ICM Trainer in retrospect.
Of course, there will also be further updates between those milestone versions, in which eventual bugs will be removed and smaller features integrated.
Hopefully, this roadmap gives you a good overview of Elephant's development in the near future. The stated time periods are only guesses, of course, as individual versions could certainly take more or less time than stated.
On a later date, a further roadmap will be published in which the steps to version 1.0 will be documented.
