Quiz of the Week: Math Is Not Idiotic

As a poker player, the ability to assess your equity is crucial. If your estimate is fast and precise, you will be able to correctly react to the situation.

Knowing your equity isn't everything there is to it, though. In a second step, you will have to choose the adequate raise size in accordance with the equity. If either one of these two abilities isn't up to par, you will make mistakes that cost you money in the long run.

In the heat of battle, it's not possible to input every hand into the Equilator - this quiz gives you an opportunity to practice your logic and your mental game, in order to help refine your intuition and feeling for odds, pot odds, ranges, and equity.

Situations where you face an all-in are another important aspect of the relationship between equity and ranges - which card-combinations could he be holding? Is your equity good enough to go broke against those?
