Revamped Home-Page for logged in Users

PokerStrategy has a new 'Home' page for logged in members. You haven't seen our new home page yet? Then login or register!

What is new?

When you login to PokerStrategy.com, you will see a new and revamped home page, that is if you have already passed the quiz. Integrated into the page are new elements such as a blog and video ticker. On top of this we have also, for the first time, added a second navigation bar outside of the Community module.

In order to access the new home page you simply need to be logged in.

What was changed?

The home page was not re-programmed from the ground up, but simply re-designed. That means the different elements maintain their old functions but are arranged differently and joined by the new blog and video tickers. 

The right navigation bar, which is still used in other sections, was placed under the main navigation bar in order to create more space. This second navigation bar will find more and more usage throughout the site as time goes on.

 

 

Why not a totally new home page?

The re-design of the old 'Home' page cost relatively few IT resources and is the first step in the complete revision of the community design and integration of the second navigation bar into other areas of PokerStrategy.com.

In summary: With this version we were able to bring you a - in our opinion - much more clearly arranged Home page, in relatively short time. We will now be able to use this as a foundation on which we can continue to improve the homepage step by step.

 

What is next?

The second navigation bar will also be available in the strategy section in the near future, where it will receive a new entry called "My Poker Hands".  There you will be able to do the following things:

• Convert hand histories into forum format so that you can post them in the hand evaluation forums of PokerStrategy.com
• Exchange hands with friends by using messengers Skype or ICQ.
• Manage your hands in an online database, which you can access from any computer from anywhere in the world.
• To replay your hands as a video with the integrated hand replayer
