Round One is Over! SoyCD Triumphs
Even though Team Tribun managed to win this week's competition with the best average finish, Team SoyCD holds on to win round one of the Battle of the Donkeys.

After 15 weeks of intense competition the the first round of the Battle of the Donkeys is over. Winner of the team competition was Team SoyCD with a clear victory across the board. With over twice as many weekly victory points, four times as much money won and an average finish of around 2,000 places further towards the final table than Team Tribun, they can proudly celebrate their victory. In the individual battle between 
SoyCD and TribunCaesar it was also SoyCD that stood triumphant at the end. Even though his average finish was trailing during the halfway mark, several deep finishes and ITM placements helped him secure the overall victory.

Although Team SoyCD managed to win the overall competition, it was Team Tribun that managed to land points in this weeks battle. With an average finish of 7,691 they managed to beat Team SoyCD (10,166) and Donkeys Unleashed (13,214) to land one point in the rankings. This was mostly possible due to good finishes by 
Termi8r (1,082) and 
Wolfbass (3,945).
In terms of money finish there was a 3 way tie between the teams, as Velak from Team SoyCD managed to score his second ITM finish in a row, and Sirilidion from Donkeys Unleashed also placed 1,139th.
The furthest placement from a community member was achieved by 
damaincontender who continues to deliver solid BOD finishes. With a 356th place he scored his 5th ITM finish out of just 6 attempts. This makes him the most consistent BOD player from the community.
Best ranked PokerStrategy member was 
Maddyhh from the German community who finished 3rd for $11,885. He also finished 12th in the WCOOP event #5 yesterday, which was enough for $41,730.
The best 8 finishers from this weeks Battle were damaincontender, Termi8r, sirilidion, Faye6891, Velak, Wolfbass, 
Vesolc and Spoehk. Yet as we are currently restructuring the concept for round 2 the sign-up will be delayed until the next announcement news.
Also to be announced during the following week will be the best of statistics and the recap from the entire round one.
