Unibet Open returns to Bucharest this year
After the Malta event last year the second Unibet Open since the pandemic is the Romanian capital starting in November,

The second Unibet Open event in the post-lockdown world has just been announced. Unibet Open Bucharest is set to take place between November 30 to December 4 in the Romanian capital.
This is the fourth time the tour has stopped in Bucharest. Last time it was won by Anton Vinokurov in 2018 after he defeated a field of 592 players. He took down a first prize of €103,060, which was a record for the tour.
Unibet is now hyping that this will be their biggest festival ever, with the number to beat is 603 entries. Qualifiers started last night at Unibet.
Feeders start from as little as 1 cent with a weekly €250 qualifier every Sunday. That is to win a €2,000 package that includes:
- €1,100 Main Event buy-in
- Four nights in the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel
- €250 towards travel expenses
- Party Access
- Breakfast & Dinner
- Unibet Merchandise
Nataly Sopacuaperu, Unibet Open’s Head of Events, said: “We’re extremely excited to be heading back to Bucharest again after a five-year hiatus. This event always has a really special atmosphere and this year promises to be a great reunion, “Bucharest is an amazing city and a great place to party as well as play poker. We’re really looking forward to it.”
