Video Interview: PartyGaming's CEO Jim Ryan at the Black Member Party

The recent Black Member-Party had many highlights - among it the presence of PartyGaming's CEO Jim Ryan, who personally collected the party guests' feedback on how to improve the new PartyPoker software. In this interview, he sums-up his impressions.

PartyGaming's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jim Ryan, alongside seven representatives - among them Managing Director John O'Malia - joined one of our VIP-Parties for the first time to get direct feedback from PokerStrategy players:

The PokerStrategy relationship is fundamental to
PartyPoker and PartyGaming... It has been a long term relationship and I look forward to
continuing that long-term relationship. I had a wonderful evening last night.

It is a unique opportunity to have some of the best poker players in Germany
in one spot dissecting a product - it is phenomenal... I think we will get more input
here, from this group of individuals, than we would get in many months
internally by actually doing surveys with customers.

PokerStrategy and Partypoker: 'interests totally a line'

Go here to see the video interview with PartyGaming's CEO Jim Ryan!

CEO Ryan, who himself is a No Limit player "with a passion for the product" took his current position at PartyGaming in March 2008.

CEO Ryan is no new-comer to the online gaming scene and can look back on an impressive career: Formerly, he held positions such as CEO of St Minver Limited - a provider for European white label internet gaming solutions - or CEO of Excapsa Software Inc. - an AIM listed developer of interactive gaming software solutions.

Together with Managing Director John O'Malia, CEO Ryan aims to drive PartyGaming and PartyPoker forward to the next step of development, and back to the status it held pre-UIEGA. According to CEO Ryan, the company currently holds some eight to nine percent of the market, and is looking to expand this further while guaranteeing the highest possible quality. PokerStrategy, as highlighted by CEO Ryan (Picture left), will remain an important partner on their way to further success:

"Frankly, what I look forward to - given that we [the CEO and Dominik
Kofert] are both located in Gibraltar - is not only having this business
relationship and extending that in the long term; but just
having the ability to sit down and have a good business discussion and
have a discussion about the product and our strategy.

And our
interests and PokerStrategy's interests are totally in line. So,
you can't have a better focal point for any partnership than that. So, nothing but good things are set happen for both of us in the long term.
