The WSOP Online returns to GGPoker on August 20

The world's largest online poker room GGPoker has unveiled the upcoming WSOP Online—another edition of the prestigious online poker series with 33 official WSOP Bracelets to be won, alongside millions in guaranteed prize money. This time around, the WSOP Online will be hosted at GGPoker from August 20 until October 2.
The WSOP Online is a testament to GGPoker's commitment to bringing unparalleled poker experiences to players worldwide, and promises an exhilarating journey filled with intense competition, incredible skill, and the ultimate honor of becoming a WSOP Online champion.

As usual, players will be able to win their way into many of these WSOP Online events with a fraction of the cost through a large variety of on satellite tournaments, while the series also includes a massive schedule of side events.
Continental Freerolls & Leaderboards
Additionally, each GGPoker player will be assigned to one of four continents—Americas, Europe, the Mediterranean and Asia Pacific—and GGPoker is planning for the WSOP Online to showcase the fierce rivalry and camaraderie among poker enthusiasts around the world.
This entails giving away a total of $2,000,000 in so-called Continental Freerolls, with each of these 33 freerolls (one for each WSOP Online event) boasting up to $100,000 in WSOP Paradise packages and cash game dollars to be won. Entry to each invitational freeroll will be open to players that both participated in the corresponding WSOP Online bracelet event and come from the same continent as the eventual bracelet winner, e.g. if an Asia-Pacific player wins the WSOP Online opening event, each Asia-Pacific participant in the tournament will be automatically registered in the associated freeroll running one week later. Additionally, GGPoker may also extend invites to players from the same continent.
Further embracing the spirit of competition, players from every corner of the globe will also vie against one another on the Continental Leaderboards, with the four Continental Champions that top the leaderboards claiming a $35,000 WSOP Paradise package.
