$20,000 in 2 PokerStrategy.com Cake Poker Races
Next Friday, the 15th of May, there are two PokerStrategy.com race promotions getting under way simultaneously. For each one, Cake Poker gives away $10,000 in prize money. The Raked-Hands-Race will reward our volume players, while the Rake-Race is aimed at the high-limit players.
Participation to the races is really straight forward: all you need is a Cake Poker account tracked through PokerStrategy.com and you're ready to go. The players who play most raked hands or who collect most rake between 00:00 GMT on May 15 and 24:00 GMT on May 31 will get their share of the $20,000 prize money.
Both of the Cake Poker Races are exclusive to our PokerStrategists! We will regularly inform you about the current standing through a series of news.
As there are two different leaderboards this time, all of our players basically have a chance - it doesn't matter whether you grind it out on the micro limits or play on the high limits.

- Leaderboards and criteria: there will be two separate leaderboards with different criteria and pay-out structures:
1. Raked-Hands-Race with $10.000 prize money
The criterion for the Raked-Hands-Race leaderboard is the amount of raked hands completed during the period of the Cake Poker Race.
We talk about a 'raked' hand whenever a player participates to a hand where rake is deducted from the pot. You are participant to a hand as soon as you've received cards during that round. If there is no flop, for instance, there is no rake and the hand thus doesn't count as "raked"

2. Rake-Race with $10,000 prize money
The criterion for the Rake-Race simply is the amount of rake collected over the period of the Cake Poker Race. The leaderboard (intermediate and final standings) will thus see the players ranked by their collected StrategyPoints.
