Update: Over $300,000 in the March Rake Races!
In March, we are improving our current rake races yet again, by adding even more money and two partner rooms to the mix. There will be more than $300,000 up for grabs this time, so make sure you don't miss out!
This March, we are giving away over $300,000 in our rake races, including our well-known Top 250 promotion. Besides improving the existing races, we have also added two new ones to the mix, on PartyPoker and with our newest partner, EuroPoker.

More races, more improvements
All in all, there will be 12 rake races in March. Let's take a look at the changes taking place next month:
- new PartyPoker rake race with a $50,000 prize pool; 250 places are paid and the race lasts for 2 weeks
- new Europoker rake chase with a $30,000 prize pool; 208 place are paid. For more information on the rake chase, click here
- new PKR rake race with $5,000 prize pool; top 25 places are paid
- improved 888.com Pacific Poker rake race; there are now four separate weekly races, each with $10,000 prize pool
- improved Poker Heaven rake race; the race format will be weekly from now on with four separate races, each with a $4,000 prize pool
Note: The Cake Poker rake race details are awaited. Cake Poker is still deciding whether to keep the race centralized or to switch back to the affiliate-based race system, and we will inform you as soon as they have finalized their decision.
How do I take part?
In order to participate in these rake races, here is what you need to know:
- Goal: Earn as many StrategyPoints as possible until the end of the month
- Requirements: Open to all PokerStrategy.com members. All you need is a poker room account created via PokerStrategy.com
- Period: 01.03.2010 - 31.03.2010
- Registration: You do not need to register to take part in these rake races - you can participate just by having an account created through PokerStrategy.com. For Everest Poker, you need to enter the code PSRACE under Account - Bonus until the end of the month. You only need to enter this code if you have not done so in the previous months.
What is a Rake Race?
In a rake race, the goal is to collect as many StrategyPoints as possible at a specific partner poker room of PokerStrategy.com. The players with the most StrategyPoints at the end of the month will get a share of the prize pool. The races normally run over the course of one month, though some of our partner rooms offer weekly races during the month.
To collect StrategyPoints, you simply need to be a PokerStrategy.com member and have a tracked account at the poker room where the rake race is taking place.
You can, of course, take part in several rake races at the same time. You can join in the rake races at any time. However, the earlier you start, the higher your chances of winning.
