Join the May Rake Races at PokerStrategy.com
The month of April is almost over and it's time to have a look at the rake races we prepared for you in May. Besides our well-known Top 250 promotion, you can also take part in a special $100,000 rake chase at EuroPoker.
In May, we will host a total of nine rake races for our PokerStrategists, including our monthly Top 250 promotion. On top of that, we will also add a special rake chase at EuroPoker, where up to $100,000 are up for grabs.

Changes in the May races
Next month you will see some more updates to our existing rake races, such as:
- In May, we will hold a special rake chase at EuroPoker, with some significant improvements. The prize pool is now $100,000 and two new steps have been added. For more information, click here.
- The rake race at 888poker now has a prize pool of $10,000 and the top 50 finishers will be rewarded. For more information, click here.
- The $4,000 weekly races at Poker Heaven will be replaced by a $10,000 monthly race, and the top 50 players will be rewarded. For more information, click here.
- The $5,000 PKR rake race will now reward the top 100 players instead of 25. For more information, click here.
How do I take part?
In order to participate in these rake races, here is what you need to know:
- Goal: Earn as many StrategyPoints as possible until the end of the month
- Requirements: Open to all PokerStrategy.com members. All you need is a poker room account created via PokerStrategy.com
- Period: 01.05.2010 - 31.05.2010
- Registration: You do not need to register to take part in these rake races - you can participate just by having an account created through PokerStrategy.com. For Everest Poker, you need to enter the code PSRACE under Account - Bonus until the end of the month. You only need to enter this code if you have not done so in the previous months.
What is a Rake Race?
In a rake race, the goal is to collect as many StrategyPoints as possible at a specific partner poker room of PokerStrategy.com. The players with the most StrategyPoints at the end of the month will get a share of the prize pool. The races normally run over the course of one month, though some of our partner rooms offer weekly races during the month.
To collect StrategyPoints, you simply need to be a PokerStrategy.com member and have a tracked account at the poker room where the rake race is taking place.
You can, of course, take part in several rake races at the same time. You can join in the rake races at any time. However, the earlier you start, the higher your chances of winning are.
