$60,000 Raked Hand Race at Betfred
Betfred has just announced that there will be a new promotion coming up for their cash game players, where $60,000 will be at stake. The goal is to play as many raked hands as possible starting with the 5th of April.
The $60,000 Raked Hand Race is Betfred's newest promotion. As the name suggests, the goal is to play as many raked hands as possible in order to get a share of the prize pool.
Cash games players are in the focus this time, no matter how large one's bankroll is. The race itself will be divided into four levels, depending on the stakes you play:
- Level 1: $0.01-$0.02 / $0.25-$0.50
- Level 2: $0.5-$1
- Level 3: $1-$2 / $2-$4
- Level 4: $3/$6 and higher
Important: The level structure refers to the blind levels as they appear in the
poker lobby. For clarity, in fixed limit games the level will be as it
appears in the poker lobby and NOT the table blind limits.
The Raked Hand Race will run from the 5th of April and it will last until the 2nd of May. However, this period will be divided into four parts, as follows:
- Monday 5th April, 00:00 GMT – Sunday 11th April, 23:59 GMT
- Monday 12th April, 00:00 GMT – Sunday 18th April, 23:59 GMT
- Monday 19th April, 00:00 GMT – Sunday 25th April, 23:59 GMT
- Monday 26th April, 00:00 GMT – Sunday 2nd May, 23:59 GMT
Note: If you play during those four Sundays, the number of your ranked hands will be doubled for this promotion.

For players who do not make it to the leaderboard, Betfred will host four $2,500 freerolls, one for each of these weekly races. These freerolls will be open to players who finished between rank 16 and 50, except for level 4, where the players ranked 11th - 50th will be invited.

- Second freeroll: 19th April 2010, 20:00 GMT
- Third freeroll: 26th April 2010, 20:00 GMT
- Fourth freeroll: 3rd May 2010, 20:00 GMT
