Over at 888poker a new offer was launched where players can grab their cowboy hat and go full Wild West in the fittingly named Wild Hunt promotion.

What's being hunted you wonder? A random prize pool of up to $20,000 in the Wild Surprise Tournament running two times a day until December 4 at 17:15 and 20:15 GMT.

The prize pool of these tournaments is being kept a secret until the event starts, there's a base amount of $2,000 guaranteed though which will always be dished out according to 888poker's standard freeroll distribution.

On top of that, an extra amount of up to $18,000 will be added to the prize pool, with the frequency of each possible guarantee shown in the table below.

How to qualify for the tournaments

In order to join the Wild Surprise Tournaments, players have to complete daily challenges to receive a ticket for each one completed (up to 2 a day):

• Play Cash: Win 10 hands in cash games including SNAP (NL Hold'em only, NL5 or higher, at least 4 players)
• Play Tournaments: Play tournaments with buy-ins totalling $8 including BLAST (Rebuys don't count towards the challenge)
• Play Casino: Place 10 bets in casino games (at least $1 per bet per round)
