In November, we will be giving away over $172,000 in promotions. Besides our well-known Top 250 promo, we will have rake races on 888, bwin, Cake Poker, Everest Poker, Full Tilt Poker, Ladbrokes and Poker Heaven.
The month of November will bring you even more prize money at PokerStrategy.com. We will be giving away over $172,000 in promotions and rake races.
What is a Rake Race?
A rake race is a time-limited promotion in which PokerStrategy.com members who earn the most 
StrategyPoints in a short time get a reward. Rake Races can be held in all or any of the PokerStrategy.com partner rooms (this means that all the StrategyPoints earned by you across all the rooms where you are playing would be added up for the time period when the promotion is running). An example of this type of rake race is our $100,000 Top 250 promotion. Alternatively, the rake race can take place on just the one poker room and only the StrategyPoints earned through playing on this one site would count.
How do I take part?
You need a poker account that has been tracked over PokerStrategy.com in order to participate in any rake race. Please set up your poker room account as described in the Poker Rooms section of the website. As soon as you begin playing, you start earning StrategyPoints. The more you play, the more SPs you get. Once the time period for the rake race is over, you need to have earned enough SPs to appear in the ranking, and you will receive your prize coordingly.

Top 250 and Top 20 are back in November
This month we will again be giving away $100,000 in our Top 250 international promotion, as well as $2,000 in our community promotion.
If you finish first in our international Top 250 promotion, you will take home a whooping $10,000 prize.
Regarding our local Top 20 promotion, if you take first place there, you will earn a nice $500 cash prize.
The total prize pool of $2,000 will be distributed amongst the top 20 English PokerStrategists who earn the most StrategyPoints by the end of the month.
Please note that if you get into both the Top 250 and Top 20, you will get the higher prize of the two. The other prize will go as added cash for a $1 buy-in global tournament which will take place in January. For more information about our local Top 20, click here.
$25,000 Rake Race on Full Tilt Poker
In November, we will host again our Full Tilt Poker rake race with a total prize pool of $25,000!

$5,000 Tell-a-Friend Freeroll
This November, we will also be hosting our $5,000 Tell-a-Friend Freeroll which will take place on PartyPoker.
In order to be invited to the Tell-a-Friend Freeroll, you must fulfill the following criteria:
- at least one of your friends must earn their first StrategyPoint in October (it doesn't matter in which poker room they earn this, nor does it matter if they have received their free $50 starting capital or not)
- you need a PartyPoker account that is tracked over PokerStrategy.com, as well as have entered your account username into your profile
The Tell-a-Friend Freeroll will have a total prize pool of $5,000 and will take place on Sunday, 8th November on PartyPoker. All players who have secured a place will be notified via email. For more information, click here.
