Pacer357 wins PokerStrategy Freeroll !!!
A few hours ago our exclusive Freeroll on PartyPoker took place. Here are the results.
Today our $1000 Freeroll on PartyPoker took place. 51 PokerStrategy members registered for this tournament after they had qualified for it by collecting 150 PartyPoints during a two week period. The places 1 to 6 were paid giving the winner incredible $370!!!
Pacer 357 was able to win this tournament. After his success PokerStrategy asked him to answer some questions:
PokerStrategy: Congratulations Pacer357 for winning the $1000 PokerStrategy Freeroll! You won $370. Could you please introduce yourself?
Pacer357: I am a 32 year old guy from the south of Sweden. I live in a town called Norrkoping about 160 kilometres south of Stockholm with the three loves of my life my 3-year old daughter, my girlfriend and whatever is in her stomach 🙂
PokerStrategy: How long have you been a member of PokerStrategy?
Pacer357: I joined about three months ago
PokerStrategy: How does it feel to win this tournament?
Pacer357: Great I don't play so many tournaments online. I mostly play limit cash games, some no-limit cash games and our friendly neighbourhood live tourneys.
PokerStrategy: How did you do throughout the tournament. Can you describe some decisive hands?
Pacer357: I think I played a strong game throughout the tournament and was only cut short once. But I picked up pocket jacks and called another shorty that went all-in. He had a little more then me. I hit my trips and doubled up. After that I played aggressive and picked up a lot of small pots. Later I got AKo on the button with 4 opponents. I had about 80k in chips. The Cutoff pushed with about 15k, I pushed my AKo and the SmallBlind called with about 27k as well, the BigBlind folded. The Cutoff had Jh, Qd and the SmallBlind had AQs in spades board came K3Q54 with 3 hearts and I won this hand.
PokerStrategy: What kind of strategy did you have when you reached the final table?
Pacer357: I didn't need so much strategy. I had so many chips so I could bully the table. I just played a LAG game, picked up a lot of small pots and pushed my edges.
PokerStrategy: Could you please describe the final hand?
Pacer357: The Blinds were 800/1600 with an ante of 50. I had about 120k and my opponent had around 20k. I raised my pocket fives to 5600 and he pushed all-in. I called. He turned over pocket threes. The flop came K,5,A and I made a full house when the King paired on the river.
