PokerStars release 2019 WCOOP schedule

Starting on September 5, a record $75 million is guaranteed over 219 tournaments this year in the World Championship of Online Poker.

The most prestigious online poker festival, the World Championship of Online Poker, will set another record this year. A total of 73 events will be played from September 5-22 and as before each one comes with a Low, Medium and High variant.

This means PokerStars is delivering 219 tournaments in just two and a half weeks, boosting a new record prize pool of $75,000,000 in guarantees, and in total, there will be 24 tournaments in WCOOP 2019 with a prize pool of at least $1 million.

The Main Events of WCOOP 2019 will be due on September 22 and available in both NLHE and PLO, with the former only having two buy-in levels—Low and High:

• WCOOP-70-H: $5,200 NLHE ($10M GTD) at 19:00 CET
• WCOOP-70-L: $55 NLHE ($1.25M GTD) at 19:00 CET
• WCOOP-71-H: $10,300 PLO ($1M GTD) at 21:30 CET
• WCOOP-71-M: $1,050 PLO ($600K GTD) at 21:30 CET
• WCOOP-71-L: $109 PLO ($300K GTD) at 21:30 CET

However, none of the Main Events will be the most expensive tournament of the festival. Instead, the largest buy-in will be due in the WCOOP-25-H NLHE High Roller with $25,000 and a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000.000.

On the other side of the spectrum, the lowest buy-in with $2.20 will be available in the WCOOP-01-L NLHE, a Phase tournament where the first step is already available from today, as well as the WCOOP-10-L NLHE (Turbo, Rebuy) on September 7.

Special UFC WCOOP Events

Apart from formats like 6+ Hold'em, 8-Game, FL 2-7 Triple Draw and many more, a dozen events of WCOOP 2019 will also be played in the Progressive Knockout format, with WCOOP-41 promising to be particularly tasty for bounty hunters, with four entry levels available:

• WCOOP-41-Micro [UFC Bantamweight] NLHE $11 ($200K GTD)
• WCOOP-41-L [UFC Lightweight] NLHE $109 ($1.25M GTD)
• WCOOP-41-M [UFC Middleweight] NLHE $1,050 ($1.25M GTD)
• WCOOP-41-H [UFC Heavyweight] NLHE $10,300 ($1M GTD)

The winners of these tournaments, in addition to receiving the prize for first place and for bounties collected during the game, will also receive packages for two to UFC 244, taking place on November 3 in New York. The package, in addition to tickets to the event, also includes a paid trip to New York as well as paid hotel accomodation.
